this is Cinemaphile, anon. most of us are autistic as shit, and some of us get obsessed with shit that ended a long-ass while ago, because it's actually a good series.
>try watching new plot driven cartoon >it can't even accomplish basic storytelling beats and characterization as well as a 20 year old childrens cartoon held back by nickelodeon restrictions. >turn off new cartoon
Call it nostalgia but I can't really enjoy modern cartoons. Drawings are usually too simple, the humor is meh and not many girls are attractive how I like them. I only remember enjoying Cleopatra is Space, Arcane and Glitch Techs lately and two of those were cancelled.
Azula is a gem and keeps threads going to this day. Not many characters can do that.
Autism.
But also why should we just dump stuff because it's a few years old? Are you that easily distracted by shiny new things that you can't appreciate older things?
Just because something is a few years old doesn't mean it's automatically better. It's just nostalgia that's messing up your objective look at the medium.
That's usually due to either nostalgia, or because people feel frustrated because they feel a series they liked was not treated as well as it should, for example, a remake of an old series adding modern stuff or removing things from the previous iteration, or a series shifting it's tone during the final seasons of the show.
Example: Avatar: The Last Air Bender was very well liked, but people did not enjoy Korra, the sequence, so they feel frustrated about it because they feel it i a disservice to the original series.
Exact same fricking arguments were being made about Greco-Roman playwriters 2000 years ago, maximum over-gay. It's almost like people get attached to shit they read and experienced that they like > sauce: https://eidolon.pub/fanfiction-in-the-fifth-century-bce-477a68ed732b
Because they're usually better than what we have now.
Just because you view everything as disposable trash doesn't mean the rest of us do, fickle OP
I'm not the OP my dude.

So what I'm hearing OP say is Azula thread?
Personally I prefer Ty Lee.
So you're saying you have bad taste?
Ty Lee can frick in positions you've never seen.

newer == better
The newer has transgenders and non-binarys, so no

he says, making yet another avatar thread
That's usually due to either nostalgia, or because people feel frustrated because they feel a series they liked was not treated as well as it should, for example, a remake of an old series adding modern stuff or removing things from the previous iteration, or a series shifting it's tone during the final seasons of the show.

Explain yourself. What arguments?
What does fanfiction have to do with OP's statement?
You can't tell me that shot isn't meant to be somewhat sexual.
bumping for someone to genuinely answer my question
Less shit posting, more Avatar girls.
