I understand why actors do these TV show podcasts (the show was popular and still has a fanbase, they haven't been in anything notable since, podcasts are easy to do and easy to make quick cash off of) but the IASIP podcast makes no sense to me. That show is still going and it seems like they're all busy outside of it as well with other movies, shows and owning a football club.

It's only about an 1-2 hour of work a week but generates good money with ads. They already are working with eachother for the show and noticeably it's been making them reevaluate their work rewatching and analyzing the former seasons together which most people in the industry don't do.
I always got the feeling their podcast was them getting out in front of potential controversy. IASIP has been on long enough that things that were once jokes have first became "things you can't joke about anymore" and now turned into full blown "if you even said it once, regardless of context, you are hard canceled." Remember, Charlie Day says Black person in the literal first episode. It doesn't matter that it was in a show, and that the character himself wasn't even saying it with malice, there are people that will unironically say "we need to ban this show and never hire Charlie Day again for anything because of that." The apology podcast is a way for them to distance themselves from the earlier (better) episodes so they can keep working.

Pam was a really good character, smart, cute, funny, attractive, kind, etc.
When Jenna look in the mirror and think about who she could have been, her ideal version of herself, it would probably be Pam.
I think most people do this kind of role play, if i had just done X, or Y, then my life would probably be different, i would be a different person from these different experiences, i would be a better person.
Jenna larped as that person for 10 years, with the world playing along with it, she kind of was Pam.. then it suddenly ends, and she finds herself being this weird old cat lady, how can anyone move on from that?
