Why can't the jedi use the force to open handcuffs? Like, moving the mechanisms inside of them to unlock them?

Jedi only use the force for defense, never attack. Unless they do.

this series was really the only good thing to come from the prequels wasn't it?

This. The prequels were moronic. The Disney ones were also moronic. You all can argue about which was more moronic I don't care.

these cuffs were made from a special alloy with anti-force properties... it's not something a sith would teach you

  6. 7 months ago
    Anonymous

They are specifically designed against force users. So it’s just a literal mental band and nothing to unlock.

it's easier to manipulate large, broad objects than small, delicate objects with the Force

It takes deep concentration, and Obi Wan was surrounded by thousands of enemies. There was no point.

      >strong enough material
Lol. Just admit your children’s movies are filled with plot holes.

        Anonymous

How is it a plot hole? I just gave you a pretty easy to understand and clear explanation. Is your little clip from a non canon video game made years later supposed to mean something? Do zoomers even know what a plot hole is anymore?

Or are you pretending to be like this just so I'll talk to you?

What now? The thinking is that they have to ability to move tons with their mind but can’t separate thin metal handcuffs, but you knew that but you just won’t admit it because you’re a disingenuous turbohomosexual.

A character was able to lift something, so a different character in a different setting should be able to do something different.

You're not very good at thinking, and the exact sort of person that has made conversation so tedious here.

Force unleashed literally isn’t canon as there’s an expansion to the game where you murder all the OT main characters.

Do you really need some EU-esque explanation about anti-force handcuffs or can you just stop being autistically nitpicky?

  15. 7 months ago

I'm not gonna look some moronic lore answer and take a guess.
They're handcuffs used to sacrifice people to monsters used by bug aliens. Most likely they don't unlock or open again. The monsters probably break them or end up eating them along with the prisoners so they don't bother with actual unlocking handcuffs

I wish I could remember the name of the books, but I was reading something on Cinemaphile where that's how magic boiled down in that series. You don't shoot each other with lightning or fire or ice, you just try to snap their brain stem. The only reason to use fire is to throw it at their face and distract them from not getting their fricking brain stem crushed.

Why did th israelitedi get killed by lightsabers?
If even the weakest jedi could lift a rock the size of a golf ball, then why didn't they use that same force to hit the opponents on/off button on the weapon?
