Why can't we have more attractive white male characters doing cool action stuff in modern animation?

Why can't we have more attractive white male characters doing cool action stuff in modern animation? Pretty much everything is either about sjw "strong wyman" or "idiot white man loser" since forever.

It's an over done trope. People want to see new ideas/projects, not the same trope over and over again.

It hasn't been an over done trope in a decade. White people are not allowed to be cool for whatever reason.

      >People want to see new ideas/projects
but the last 10 years have all been about replacing/emasculating white men so that women/blacks can look good and take over.
the huge success of anime/manga and the disastrous flop of comics/western animation shows that people want light skinned / white male heroes,

Name 5 recent examples that you think fit that bill. I can guarntee you they all will feature the so called white male "hero" getting beaten up/ rescued by a woman at least ones and overall have him be depicted as less competent/smart/strong as every woman/black guy in the show/movie.

I assume writers assume thats not "relatable" and also cgi animators have a boner for underdog loser protagonists.

Only gays want white male characters in cartoons. Real chads play video games.

This is why I could never get into how to train your dragon. The main character feels totally anachronistic, a whiny emo teen who grows up to become a scrawny hipster in viking times is just dumb

Thank you. I also hated how the teens all had inexplicable American accents while the adults were Scottish - protags gotta be American or else they arent "KEWL"

Right now we're in the "experimental phase". Tons of new ideas, mostly failures induced through genuine moronation and institutional brainwashing widen the gap between people who know and people who think they know but are wrong.
Eventually some gay is gonna pull out the trump card of an attractive white male character doing cool action stuff as a backup because everything else is forgettable, boring or straight up bad outside of circlejerk echo chambers. But then everyone is gonna pretend this is the great exception but we should all be fine with the artificially induced mediocricity of the "diversity for diversity's sake" shit anyway.

tl;dr: it'll come eventually, but will be treated as an exception when it used to be standard

Either you are OK with racism or you’re not. Posting stuff like this just shows you’re as bad as OP.

Also, posting on Cinemaphile immediately disqualifies you from calling anyone a loser

Pretty weird there has been such a focus on making girl-centered shows for a mostly girl audience. Don't they love fawning over handsome male heroes? Aren't actor likes Chris Evans and Chris Hermsworth the main thing driving women to MCU screenings?

I think it's mostly weird that they aren't making girl centered shows with a male love interest. Girls love romance, and like fantasizing about some hunk falling in love with them just as much as boys like it when the hero gets the girl at the end. Or do they not any more? I'm old, so maybe girls are different now and they just want aromatic women and gay ships.

Ummm that's sexist of you anon. Also, girls love LESBIAN romance.

We need more Cinemaphile moments where "strong women" with the personality of Brie Larson on the set of Captain Marvel get put in their place.
