They play with the concept without taking themselves seriously.
Maybe this is unpopular, but I actually like it when stories take themselves seriously. Parody has it's place, but at a certain point the self-depricating (in)security blanket of irony is antithetical to any emotion or mood beyond dull cynicism. There's a reason why Batman TAS won Emmy's and why the Justice Friends were just a series of shorts in an unrelated show.
I get what you mean, but parodies aren't just dull cynicism. Some of it is pretty good if it goes to a more lampooning side. The Emmy's don't say much either. I mean, 1998 Powerpuff Girls (a comedy show that lampoons, parodies, mocks and subverts superhero tropes) won more Emmy's than Batman TAS.
Parody while making fun of something still comes from a place of love. Often actually cale shit are about making money. Like a cold prostitute on a ceisp December nights, who just wants to go inside but her pimp keeps making Disney + shows.

I’m gonna be honest, stuff like the new HBO thing always make me worried because I have a cape suspense/horror/mystery I want to write in the next couple years, and I’m always worried about names getting taken up. Hope that doesn’t happen
