Fate.
I did enjoy the film and glad I watched it in the cinema, but I did find it odd we just say her fly through a drone not ten minutes before her first stabbing. Was there something special about the blade? Must have been kryptonite, but then why wouldnt it make Zod weak aswell?
Supes is in it. Briefly fighting a volcano...on news footage from far away...with his back to the camera.
I wasn't pleased by this but he's still technically in it.
Maybe, but also there's something kind of charming about Keaton's Batman being in his own contained universe with no other superheroes. Unlike Affleck's Batman, who even addresses the criticism that if he wanted to end crime he would give his money away, Keaton claimed that Gotham didn't need him any more and it is one of the safest cities in the world. Its sad he's all alone, but he gets to spend his retirement drinking, painting and listening to classic rock. He's a Batman who actually accomplished his mission. They didn't "Last Jedi" him like the Ghostbusters or Indiana Jones.
Why can't they make superhero movies with soul like this anymore? Raimi managed it with Spider-Man but modern capeshit is so soulless I can't watch it.
>Mexican immigrant with revenge against whites fantasy >Dies to whitey (who is actually also Mexican because they are from the same planet).

clark literally learnt to fly in a day. Dont even knows how to fight we never him actually fight. Such a useless shit character.
Not enough sunlight. Superman grew up in the sun and he was shaped by it, making him extremely powerful. Whereas she was trapped underground and didnt get the same amount of sunlight and is thus weaker.
She thinks sunlight is her ally,
But superman was born in it. Molded by it.
Supergirl didn't see the light until she was an adult and by then it was BLINDING
She almost did one time then totally jobbed to the "I was just pretending" technique. I feel like the writers realized that because she never beats him into a wall again.
Wait, so is she just a female Kal-El or is she someone else? I thought he only wanted superman because he contained the Kryptonian birthing matrix in his DNA.
He went back into the past, altering the course of events. He is then in a different timeline with a different course of events, split off from his "original timeline". The same as Steins;Gate.

They frick around with time so much that they end up in a different timeline, split off from their original timeline. One of the key moments in the plot is whatshisname being smart enough to realize this and build a device that figures out which timeline he's in and how far he is from the original timeline.
But how the frick does altering something in the past on one planet that has 0 contact with krypton until Superman was sent there as a baby alter krypton's history?

Burton-Batman was in this surreal world that blended 1930's and late 80's aesthetics in a surprisingly satisfying way, but this movie doesn't attempt any of that. He was a millionaire (not billionaire) Yuppy Batman with high-end Shaper Image catalog gadgets, a custom car, plane and suits, spending at most 20 million dollars of 1989 era money. I doubt his plane could have flown to Siberia without refueling twice. He's not a technobabble scientist Batman. This movie should have been made 15 years ago with Adam West.

>I doubt his plane could have flown to Siberia without refueling twice.
This movie doesn't bother with logic or time constraints. The US Army starts fighting Zod on a (terrible CGI soundstage) plain as Supergirl shows up there, then they spend an entire night trying to restore Barry's powers, and when they show up at midday the following day the battle is still going on just as before, like a vidyagaem scene that will wait for you to arrive.

Probably a shit ton, it's one of the most famous movies ever and a huge part of American culture.
Something gay about fate. Just go further back and tell her what to do moron Flash. Go so far back, you stop her from being captured. Build an entire Justice League before Zod even shows up.
My generous interpretation is that there are major events which can be changed and major events which cannot. Anything significant enough to prevent Kara's death would necessarily be major enough to shunt you elsewhere
This, Flash changed his timeline and caused a new intersection with the 1989 Batman's universe, which was created and intended to have no other superheroes in it before him. This is also now what separates the Keatonverse from the Kilmerverse, because he gets a Robin. Now Flash is living in the Clooneyverse, which is different than the Kilmerverse (despite both being Schumaker films) because we see Two-Face's costume in the Arkham property room in B&R even though he died in Batman Forever. This could also be a great chance to bring Carrey's Riddler back; have him be someone who figured out the Multiverse with his "Box."

but if the Flash didn't appear in the 1989 Batman Universe, Batman and Supergirl would have just died away from the battlefield from the terraforming machine. he seemed to be speaking about temporal mechanics from an informed perspective. Another thing I liked about the movie is by having 18 year old Barry, the older Barry seems more mature and likeable.
Whul's still alive and just did a recent cameo for tv, they should have had Knox in the movie as a friend of Bruce Wayne's who gets the Supergirl information from a contact at the Daily Planet.
Havnt seen the movie but im guessing its because zod was a general with decades(centuries?) of experience, and shes been locked underground all her life?
I liked old 1989 Batman. He showed he could hang with real superheroes. His takedown of the Kryptonian Giant was great. Superman should be killable with a few million dollar's worth of next generation C4.
The movie had like 5000 reshoots so that probably did happen a one point.
I think originally they were suppose to BTTF it a bit more and go back further in time.
I would have liked to have seen Flash actually go to some of those other universes, team up with a new actor playing the George Reeves Superman (maybe even reference Hollywoodland and have Ben do it)
DCucks have fully embraced diversity now. All the shit movies have totally broken them as people. They are on Cinemaphile praising a Superman cartoon where Clark is literally the last white person on Earth.
It's bad enough The Batman's supporting cast is now Le Noble Black and the Psychologically Dangerous Whitoid, now we get treated to Mexican Lois and Black Jimmy.
This movie is 2 and a half hours of pure stupid.
You'll see fully clothed mid girls and Twinkerbell Miller prancing around nude in multiple scenes.
You make your own call.
I used to think that Thor/Jane was the worst capesdhit romantic subplot, till I was exposed to Miller-Flash barely feigning sexual interest in chubby (Black of course) Iris.
She was in JUSTice League too, tho not as fat.
You can't make Ezra Miller seem not-gay. When he joins up with his 18-yr old self in the past (played by Miller with just different clothing), you really expect them to frick.
Regardless, the Barry's should have been able to beat Zod, they were developing skills to take out entire groups of Kryptonians at once.
They could reset time at will for infinite do-overs.
There wasn't even a need to fight them on that battlefield, they could just zip over to the World Engine and destroy it with Supergirl's help while Zod dicked around with the Army.
Then ambushed them one by one over time.
kryptonians obviously follow similar male-female sexual differentiation to humans, in that their males are larger, stronger, and better fighters than their females, plus zod had a lifetime of military training and strategy on her and he was literally bred to be a soldier and a general.
if u were makin sex to a supergirl and u made her cum would she chop ur dick off with her involuntary pusy convulsions? or like, how is lois lane even alive after gettin sexed at by superguy when he cums? wouldn't he shoot it right thru her hole body and kill her?

i think most of the problem was ezra, he just doesnt 'feel right' as Flash in some way i cant adequately explain. dont like him in the role, or iris' casting for that matter (not that shes in the film any more than three scenes). i liked keaton back as batman, that was my bats growing up

Idk but I can’t believe someone chose to have this “character” in the movie instead of Superman. Maybe people would have went to see it.
Nobody cares about Superman. This was just as bland and pointless as if it were him. And you get the same story without having to pay Carville.
Well they evidently care even less about this girl-superman…..
Fate.
I did enjoy the film and glad I watched it in the cinema, but I did find it odd we just say her fly through a drone not ten minutes before her first stabbing. Was there something special about the blade? Must have been kryptonite, but then why wouldnt it make Zod weak aswell?

Maybe Cavill shouldn't have burned every bridge he had
Playing war hammer in your free time and not being a cuck is burning bridges?
Because this is the only Superman anyone wanted to see teamed up with Keaton
CGI was so terrible
They should CGI’d him in a main role with lots of screen time.
They didn't "Last Jedi" him like the Ghostbusters or Indiana Jones.
He could have come from a different universe. Rewrite the story a bit.
It was fine. CGI looks cartoony at the best of times. I just want it as a basic visual stimuli to vehicle the story.
>CGI looks cartoony at the best of times.
And it looks like The Flash at the worst.
That would be awful. Did you not see how terrible he looked in that brief cameo he was in? Imagine a whole movie of that.
Why can't they make superhero movies with soul like this anymore? Raimi managed it with Spider-Man but modern capeshit is so soulless I can't watch it.
Who cares? Frick superhero movies, move on
>Who cares?
I do. Because they could be soulful heartwarming kinos but instead they're soulless corporate abominations.
The common ingredient? An iconic score.
Big part of why film in general has lost a lot of the soul
This guy gets it. It stars with the score. Then the soul seeps into the entire movie.
this isn't touched on enough why modern blockbusters feel so soulless. all of the most memorable blockbusters also have an incredibly memorable score.
Zimmer reduced them to a wall of noise, Gunn just uses old Greatest Hits compilations.

I hate to defend this movies abysmal logic, but presumably that would just launch them into a different universe entirely because of the spaghetti
What is the breaking point for a new strand of spaghetti? If the spaghetti was always there and he just jumps into it. Does anything really matter?
