Women don't actually give a shit about movies where women are seen doing cool shit. I honestly don't think they even pay enough attention to anything they're watching to pick up on what's happening. Women love emotional direct monologues that explain exactly how someone is feeling or what has happened in the movie up until that point.

thats why theres so many women into anime. its guided entertainment

Kek, thank you for that nugget. That was like two puzzle pieces finally coming together in my mind.
Women think they're insightful, but really they just want to be told what to think or how to read a scene by a character.
It's also a strong reason many articles tell you what to think of the topic in the subject line too.
Charlie's Angels was way too obvious and dumb with its pandering. Women only like pandering in joke or monologue form. They don't really like seeing women do "cool" things.
Barbie has the possibility of becoming capeshit for women. They'll turn up just for the name like capeshitters slavishly watching ever new Spidershit and Batshit.
Because Charlie’s Angels is culturally irrelevant boomer IP. The only reason it worked in the 00s film version was because of TV reruns were still a mainstream thing that kept it in the zeitgeist and you had people who grew up with it as kids having nostalgia. 19 years later none of that applies.
And it was still a good movie, people just weren’t very interested in seeing it in theatres
why tf does everything have to be made political these days? i went to the theater with my gf with no prior knowledge of what this movie will be about aside from a handful of promo photos, and to say i was disappointed would be an understatement. judging from the beginning i expected some playful writing and clever insights about the world the barbies live in for the character development of main barbie, not to blatantly make them go into the real world and just become a mirror of our own reality. i have enough of my problems and struggles just by living in it, when i go to a movie i expect to distance myself from it, not to get drawn more into it. the constant 4th wall breaking and zoomer humour didnt help at all, with the audience in the theater laughing their asses off at the most cringe jokes and constantly discussing the movie
This but also because they legitimately see everything as political.
To them even shows like Scrubs are political because they are made by the people with the cultural hegemony which must be rebelled against.
So to them rebooting Scrubs with exclusively trans actors is just the same thing that their political opponents were doing 25 years ago.
An attempt at pushing political idology through "culture".
Really you fricking moron? You thought a glimpse into the world of plastic by mattel would be insightful? What were you gonna do with that insight you stupid nogger? You simple shit.
Adding to this. This isn't zoomer shit writing. This is millenial writing and production in full force. Don't blame those homosexual zoomers for making this. They have their own problems but millenials are the product makers these days. We run the zeitgeist right now and no one likes it. In True millenial fashion we fricked things up and will blame everyone else for the problems.
insightful in terms of their world, not our world, i didnt expect it to have any sense or any translation in any way to our own world, just creativity for creativity sake
Because charlies angels shows "strong" women.
Barbie shows a """""""strong""""""" woman who is also the biggest victim on earth.
See, women dont want a story where they beat up the dudes and save the day, they want a story where the dudes beat them (metaphorically) because being a victim is the most important thing to a woman.
If she wasnt a victim she would have to assume some sense of accountability for her lot in life.
Holy shit this is the female Fight Club like that other anon said lol. I can't not see the parallels in how people talk about them. Still not watching Barbie. Maybe Barbarella if Sweeny gets that going.
You're right homie but I think you're overthinking it it's just cause it's a pink movie about Barbie and every thot can wear tight pants and pretend they're barbie for the month
That's where the danger is. The shit you've described is the surface level easy to emulate shit. The stuff the other anon is talking about influences thoughts and actions subliminally while they emulate the shit they like on the superficial level. That's how propaganda works bud.
This triggers me because Banks accused men of not watching the movie even though I did and it was in fact her fellow vegana-havers that betrayed her, not honest, hard-working kstew-pervs like me.

Yeah? So why did they love the Drew Barrymore Lucy Liu Charlie's Angels so much?
>So why did they love the Drew Barrymore Lucy Liu Charlie's Angels so much?
It was fun and the chicks were sexy. Same reason guys liked it.
No no no. In context. The question is if the post I was responding to presented a factual case, why did etc.
Men went to see those movies. They didn't go see the new one however.
They didn't.
the first one was kino and had shit like Tom Green just hanging out being weird and Shaq for some reason.
The second one scored a short review in my local University Magazine "Utterly Preposterous"
They also love the opportunity to dress up as bimbos
Women think they're insightful, but really they just want to be told what to think or how to read a scene by a character.

I will try to get this man arrested and incarcerated for the VICIOUS ASSAULT he just perpetrated with every breath I have
>guy holds hand
>that must mean he wants to frick me
Do women really?
Women are stupid and they like barbie. Reminder we live in a matriarchy
Pretty much every girl played with Barbies as a little kid. Only boomers watched Charlie's Angels when it aired
because it's Barbie
Charlie's Angels was way too obvious and dumb with its pandering. Women only like pandering in joke or monologue form. They don't really like seeing women do "cool" things.
Barbie had better marketing
>It has been found that human perfection does exist,[42] puzzling the scientific community.[43]
>perfection
>marries a third rate black soccer player who's been unemployed since 2020
BARBIE
Women love fun comedy and sex appeal
It wasn't a fun comedy. This wasn't Clueless. It was a movie for aging neurotic millennial women who blame their personal failures on men.
Every gay homosexual lgbt troony on earth and every women on earth saw this movie
>Why does a half-century brand scorch-marked on womxn brains does better than a propery that was aimed to men?
Gee, i dunno why OP
Barbie has the possibility of becoming capeshit for women. They'll turn up just for the name like capeshitters slavishly watching ever new Spidershit and Batshit.

Also drew barrymore was a vixen
turns out Charlie’s Angels needs sexy actresses not three ugly b***hes
They are all literal 10/10s you homo

Woke people are miserable and want you to be as miserable as they are because they are sadists. NO FUN ALLOWED.
This but also because they legitimately see everything as political.

And with charlies angels they had like 3 different bawds modelling 600 loose costumes to chose from but couldnt be bothered.
Because CA was absolutely terrible and Barbie is not, and also has the Goose Factor.
This triggers me because Banks accused men of not watching the movie even though I did and it was in fact her fellow vegana-havers that betrayed her, not honest, hard-working kstew-pervs like me.
Barbie had both superior casting and marketing. Whoever was the casting director made the right calls.
Women never liked Charlie's Angles. It was always soft coombait for men
One was directed by woman, the other by board of old fat israelites.
I'd cum all over the two brown ones. I'd probably even get some on Banks if I had any left.
