All right, I'll say it then: Watchmen was a very decent and underrated movie which even managed to not be completely embarrassed by the source material.
I actually loved the series up until Dr. Manhattan showed up. They were building towards an interesting climax with a conspiracy that actually seemed to subvert expectations and then - fricking nothing interesting came of it. Dr. Manhattan's behavior in the show is also straight up racist. In fact I can't think of anything more racist than a white (or blue) guy possessing the body of a dead black dude just to get into a black woman's pants. However much coke was snorted to come up with that, Lindelof should've stopped about three lines earlier.
And after Lindelof sent him a letter starting with "Dear Moore, I'm one of the bastard destroying Watchmen".
