Her being Hulks "handler" at he beginning of the movie and the relationship seemingly developing out of nowhere made me think she was honey potting him to control the Hulk. Even after that, they never address the relationship again. Not in Thor not after the snap not after she dies, not in her solo movie. In reality it was just poorly done from the beginning and then abandoned.
