Actually, to expand on this, is it just me or does that South Park episode become more and more relevant with each particularly big case like this because of how many times it really was just the company LARPing that they didn't give someone a mafia-like image protection and stood by as they became more corrupt with power? Like, we're half a decade post Weinstein and still haven't undone Hollywood mafia/fixer culture or any of the protections in the system that caused this shit to keep happening, but at the same time we're all LARPing that the system is being torn down based on whatever bones are thrown to the crowd, yet we all feign shock when the next cashcow showrunner or megacelebrity is caught doing something. Meanwhile, an e-celeb gets caught grooming kids for nudes and since there's no media to tell us to act shocked, we're allowed to just admit that we're not even surprised, laugh at em and toss em out.

Savino isn't entirely isn't either, he cheated on his wife, ruined his children's lives probably, for some mediocre Cali broad pussy. I'm sure he was also the type that, in the heat of the moment in a relationship going bad, would threaten to have a co-worker fired or some other dumb shit, but all the stories we got from this incident were couched in sensationalism and outright lying (especially since Amid Amidi was the primary source for most of it) its hard to take a side against him.
