The same reason the MLS almost went bankrupt.
Latinos do not have the purchasing power of whites even though they have the most kids. Do not try to market business to them they do not have enough capital to support it.

Latinos all want to be white they don't want to watch some story about a girl in a crossstitch dress.

Extremely shitty movie that makes no sense.
Why would anyone want to live in a house that is 'alive', watching your every step? And imagine living with a woman who has super hearing, want to take a shit? She will hear it. Want to jerk off? She will hear it, etc.
They weren't living in some secluded pocket of paradise, but in a nightmare under 24/7 surveillance.
Really really hated this movie tbh

Discourse around this movie is the ultimate indicator of most of Cinemaphile living under a rock, I always think. They... do know that after its middling box office it went on to be an absolute juggernaut on streaming? That its soundtrack topped charts across the world? That its merchandise was listed alongside Toy Story and Frozen as being among the top 5 earners of 2022 for the company? That Mirabel is getting a permanent custom built meet and greet at the parks, something you have to be SERIOUSLY popular to accomplish?

That there is currently a live stage version touring multiple countries? And a live concert? And a Broadway version heavily rumoured to be in active development, with a casting call for Bruno recently put out?

It's a fricking modern classic but for some reason Cinemaphile posters are time locked in December 2021 and keep pretending it's a forgotten bomb. Stick your head outside, for the love of Christ. If you had your finger even slightly on the pulse of pop culture you would recognise the reach this film has had.
