They made a video on Sonic the Hedgehog saying you just run right into enemies, they couldn't figure out that you just press down and use momentum. I never got over that.
Rich is only funny being riffed off of by Mike. Aidsmoby is only "funny" when drunk. Twitch chat is cancer. Neither were good at videogames nor knew what they were talking about regarding them. Only good for shitshow games like The Order. Also gave us way too much insight with an uncurated view into the minds of these basedboy cucks. Fact of the matter is RLM exists to make me laugh. If they ain't doing that, I don't care.
A lot of people soured on Rich because they figured he was just a lovable oaf from the RLM videos but found out thanks to the streams that actually he's a grumpy, rude dickhead
Rich finally killed Jason and baldy wasn’t there and Rich’s wife didn’t give a shit. The big moment that they’d been working towards for nearly a year finally happened and it received all the fanfare and celebration of an impressively loud fart. After that all the passion was gone and it became a pointless chore
>that episode where Jack demands the end of anonymity on the internet and that everyone should have to use their real name online
Legit made me hate him.
It didn't really. The average twitch streamer would have killed to get the kind of audience they had, relative to the work they put in (they only streamed once or twice a week). They had delusions of grandeur thinking they'd blow up and get 10k viewers a stream putting in only the limited time they were devoting to it.
Sp Rich Evans just didn't want to do it anymore because he's happy leeching off RLM as-is. Probably thought he could launch a voice acting career. Jack went on to do videogame content with Escapist.
Well yeah, because gamers online are the most entitled, bratty, narcissistic fanbase in existence. When Jack and Rich listened to the chat and played a recommended game and they didn't like it, they got told they were "playing it wrong" or that "they have awful taste". Every loser gamer thinks their taste is the best and that everyone should love what they love, Rich and Jack had unique taste and some of their audience couldn't accept that.
They tried to shit on the game industry like they do the movie industry without a clear understanding of it. Their review of quantum break was incredibly off base. It was obvious they had no idea about Remedy. I don't watch reviews if I know more about the subject than the reviewer.
I kinda like them as an outside perspective though. Their Order 1886 review is probably their best one just because the devs at the time were coping with the low scores it was getting about how it should be seen as more of a cinematic experience than a game and Rich and AIDS just go "Ok, we'll review it like a movie then, frick you"
>but their audience is millennial and up
I'd say half their audience is zoomer who only about them because of like the Newgrounds twitch streamers who also talk about nostalgia critic.
It didn't fail, they had a hundred thousand subscribers and their videos go healthy views. It just didn't grow as fast as they wanted, they were greedy, especially Jack. And they didn't like being essentially "RLM lite" which is what they were always going go be regardless of what they did, that's just a cold hard fact that they didn't want to embrace
>ywn be watching them live again waiting for Mike to make a surprise appearance and the chat going wild >ywn be watching them live and then Jay comes and does an entire commentary stream with them >tfw we never got a Spiderman PreRec with them shitting on the quick time events and blatant discount Arkham Knight gameplay >tfw we never got a elden ring prerec with them praising the masterpiece that is that game and explaining why elden ring is peak GAME while something like Spiderman is just consoomer slop for npcs >tfw we never got them streaming crash team racing and realizing how fun it is >tfw we never got them streaming lies of P
It made it clear how weird these people really are.
It was only good for RLM deep lore tidbits.

you are a toxic homie
because not only are jack and rich really bad at video games, they have awful taste in them
A lot of people soured on Rich because they figured he was just a lovable oaf from the RLM videos but found out thanks to the streams that actually he's a grumpy, rude dickhead

>rich manages to convince him it's a bad idea because gays might be negatively affected
I have no idea. It was solid, professional content.
The most i enjoyed it was the streams of that "daddy tries to stop baby from killing himself" game, but generally the show was boring.

Jack said Black person
Rich is only tolerable in small, highly-edited doses. And Jack was, well, Jack.
I think it’s healthier to keep parasocial relationships at a distance. I got the sense they hated most of the fanbase that watched them.

The best streams were the Jay streams. I occasionally watch the VODs for them since they're so comfy.

It gave us this kino and it’s all I could ask for
People realised Rich is actually insufferable off-script
Sober Jack is the embodiment of no dimes.
These streams proved that a Jay podcast would be comfy as frick.
Jay streamed Blood Shack and it was very entertaining. He kept playing the Ishtar trailer over and over again with different effects on it.
Those stream were fun

Game Station 2.0 is superior.
i tried watching an old stream and 90% of it was them reading off moronic and pathetic donation messages.
watching video game streaming is for zoomer and under but their audience is millennial and up
>but their audience is millennial and up
I'd say half their audience is zoomer who only about them because of like the Newgrounds twitch streamers who also talk about nostalgia critic.
because they didn't actually want to play video games
and their audience was terrible and they did nothing to curb it
It didn't fail, they had a hundred thousand subscribers and their videos go healthy views. It just didn't grow as fast as they wanted, they were greedy, especially Jack. I don’t think they would like Elden Ring. Rich’s diabetic hands probably couldn’t keep up with the bosses.
>their review of Cuphead being "It's just Contra, why do people enjoy this game? Go play Contra instead."
