It’s a product of its time; also Dexters lab is way better and holds up more as time goes on.
There's actually a reason for this that I just read today. All of the assets were created for the movie and then simply reused for the television show. This limited their ability to acquire new film budget style assets so they could only do so much with the show.
It doesn't help that the Jimmy neutron movie is better than any episode of the entire show. There's a degree of perfection to the movie and how it flowed that didn't quite lend itself to episodic format
The entire production of the show was like a bad comedy plot too working at a place with weekly electricity blackouts and having to make it work with their extremely limited budget and resources

It’s like they gave up on IPs aimed at grade school children because they lost the attention war to TikTok and Minecraft. The channel is like 90% SponGabon/Paw Patrol repeats now.

I think that and the general shift away from watching traditional television are responsible. That and the idea that everything MUST be a reboot/remake/remaster to capitalize on Familiar Thing. An entire market of shows aimed at kids too old for mindless baby cartoons but too young for adult stuff essentially vanished in favor of videos where some soiboy shouts at the camera with flashing subtitles telling you all about how he bought a $1 car and a $100,000,000,000 car and is here to show you the difference.
It is pretty crazy to think of just how many once huge IPs there are that are now dead and forgotten.
Jimmy Neutron is honestly pretty shit, it always was, it just existed in the time when occupying the right time slot on cable meant kids would watch it.
I love Jimmy Neutron but the art style is horribly outdated and I don't think they can "modernize" it without taking huge part of what Jimmy Neutron Jimmy Neutron
I'd say the art style is what sold the show in the first place. The whole 3D animated thing was still relatively new and shit like Toy Story were groundbreaking at the time. Now Pixar churns the shit out like there's no tomorrow with their ugly as frick designs. I do agree it's outdated though, and any attempt at a redesign would end up like every other bean mouth garbage show nowadays. That's not even considering they'd 100% throw identity politics in and half the cast would be trans BIPOC nonbinary otherkin.
It was always outdated as frick, it's a 50s throwback show.
They did a spinoff with Sheen that was shit and flopped and afterwards they just didn't try anymore.

Peter Dinklage could play the "older kid" brutally bullying the shit out of Warwick Davis in 30 minute installments, complete with real hand to hand combat and no stuntmen allowed. Every episode ends in Warwick being launched into space in various comedic ways, Dinklage could crinkle him up like a spitball and shoot him out of a straw in the first episode. I'd watch that.
