How would I know the entire movie was shot on a green screen in some guy's garage if I hadn't watched it? Frick you for unironically tolerating this shit in an "adventure" movie, it was a theater performance but with CGI but without any of the wit or inventiveness necessary to put on an entertaining theater performance.
I didn't recommend it to you because it's just a straight adventure movie and I was hoping a movie about dungeons and dragons would be about kids playing Dungeons and Dragons in a basement, like with the kids narrating the story as we see the actual characters experience it, and each kid actor correlating to an adult actor in the dungeons and dragons story
It's a good movie, but yeah, that would've made it even better and set it apart from other fantasy stuff and give a better excuse to have comedy. I also like stories withing stories like The Princess Bride or that one episode of Dexter's Lab where they're playing the D&D like game.
Ten years from now, no one will remember or talk about Oppenheimer, Poor Things or Barbie. But people will still talk about Dungeons and Dragons, Godzilla and The Meg 2. Those three are the best bets to become cult classics from 2023 and stand the test of time.
It would be better though if she lost her clothes when transforming. Then she'd be all naked and embarrassed when she transforms back.
She'd have to try and get back to where her clothes are, but maybe someone found them and took them? Or maybe she can't get back because they all had to run.
Would be pure coomer kino.
I loved it also. I skipped it initially because the trailer looked really generic and cringe. Watched it when BG3 came out and I was on a D&D kick. Its a solid fantasy movie and was genuinely funny.
This movie had the same problem as Raised by Wolves. People have, through subconscious pattern recognition, come to expect a low quality movie when they see a bunch of forced diversity with subversive characters like a female berserker and nignog paladins and wizards. When one of these movies actually turns out good, nobody pays attention because it’s like the boy who cried wolf.
It’s really easy to avoid anything gay. My party is the 3 girls who were each immediately stripped upon joining my party. I didn’t talk to the guys, and you can just straight up kill them.
You fricking wienersucker everyone was trying to tell you! Literally nobody how saw this didn't like this movie. Everyone was fricking surprised and loved it but you buttholes couldn't be bothered to go to the theatres to support it so now we get no more Dungeons & Dragons and are left with Mr. Shit!
it was a fine fun adventure flick, but we were boycotting it when it released because WoTC decided to attempt to personally nuke the entire tabletop roleplaying industry
I wouldn't know
I have zero tolerance for their kind now
mostly don't watch anything with them anymore
with the exceptions of their character being correctly sidelined while a proper lead does kino
like pic related & Sicario comes to mind
>Film comes out >The 5 or 6 people on Cinemaphile who actually go to the cinema say it's good >Everyone calls them shills and ignores them >Months pass >When it comes out on pirate sites/streaming, more people watch it and complain that nobody told them it's good
Kino of the year
it sucked dick and you're a homosexual
You haven't watched it, I can tell.

Gay
quit talking to yourself and come out of the closet already.
yeah it was great. bought the dvd.
>In a year where almost everything sucked
>A mediocre outting is considered kino

Actual brainlet take
Do you also like your twists to be "he was in a coma and all the characters were hospital staff"
>Actual brainlet take
>Do you also like your twists to be "he was in a coma and all the characters were hospital staff"
>nooooooooo, it's not meta enough. where are the 4th wall breaks!??!?!11
South Park already did it.
Yeah should have taken what they did with the Jumanji reboot
Frick no

>It's a good movie
>blackwashed fantasy
>effeminate men
>ugly women
lol

>The Meg 2
This movie is too reliant on already janky CGI to age well enough for that to happen.
oppenheimer is already a part of the rainy day kino quadrilogy with no country, lebowski and there will be blood.
For me, it's Doric.
It would be better though if she lost her clothes when transforming. Then she'd be all naked and embarrassed when she transforms back.

Would be pure coomer kino.
whats the annual salary for the based department?
the based table during lunch in high school
based coomer
Based enjoyer of the female form, sex is based, cooming is most based
She just needs the boots of very fast blinking.
I loved it also. I skipped it initially because the trailer looked really generic and cringe. Watched it when BG3 came out and I was on a D&D kick. Its a solid fantasy movie and was genuinely funny.
This movie was shilled so much on this board that it developed its own dedicated schizo who copy/pastes replies.
what happened to him?
Probably got put into a psych ward
>trannies keep seething about their box office bomb
Who's seething?
Literally the group of people that spam this every day.
You mean the posters that got upset over a movie they'll never even watch?
No, i mean the trannies who are so upset that it failed that they post every day for months.
the thing starring kurt russell failed and I enjoy it
Haven't seen anyone upset about it bombing, just people saying that they like it. Can you point to an example in this thread?
>can you do a task for the goalposts i shifted?
I liked the dungeons and dragons movie from y2k
You're the one claiming that people are upset about it bombing. Back up your claim. Haven't seen anyone whine about that.
>back up your claim
Go back
I accept your concession.
>t. redditor
Just take the loss and move on instead of spouting out NPC buzzwords
You will never get a sequel just like you will never be a woman.
Don't care if it gets a sequel or not. And stop projecting your sick fetish onto me, gay.
>t.
Nice try, but we all know you're not THE schizo.
It sucks dick. I hate Paramount shills and I hate homosexual main characters with ugly fricking daughters.

>Why did no one tell me about this kino? Easily one of the best films of last year
Its good fun
This movie would've done so much better if it came out right after BG3
How pozzed gay porn disguised as a game would have helped that pozzed movie?
It’s really easy to avoid anything gay. My party is the 3 girls who were each immediately stripped upon joining my party. I didn’t talk to the guys, and you can just straight up kill them.
It sucked ass anon
You fricking wienersucker everyone was trying to tell you! Literally nobody how saw this didn't like this movie. Everyone was fricking surprised and loved it but you buttholes couldn't be bothered to go to the theatres to support it so now we get no more Dungeons & Dragons and are left with Mr. Shit!
>emasculated noises
Here I though thieves were more badass and cunning, not some GAY bard.
JARNATHAN
kek that a side character is in front of someone from the main group.
also that dude looks like Grant from trash taste
It'd be fine if it wasn't for ESG.
Loved it. In my top 3 kino of 2023.
Also i followed Kojimbo-sama and bought a 4K Bluray because cute Sophia is in it.
it was a fine fun adventure flick, but we were boycotting it when it released because WoTC decided to attempt to personally nuke the entire tabletop roleplaying industry
Frick Doric
>Unbearably pozzed and greenscreened.
>good
Cope, moron. It's a shit movie and nobody watched it
way too many blacks for it to be good, seriously every single scene has numerous nogs
the nig wizard filters me
just too distracting
also I heard chris pines character was deliberately emasculated
never gonna watch it
>the nig wizard filters me
That nerd ruins every movie hes in
I wouldn't know
I have zero tolerance for their kind now
mostly don't watch anything with them anymore
with the exceptions of their character being correctly sidelined while a proper lead does kino
like pic related & Sicario comes to mind
>sectant who believs in blorgs from stellaris
>proper lead
his cult is still better than the current popular cult in the west
>all shows are shot in the same 3 castles
Also obese dragon and birdman jokes were fun
Le loser Black wasn't fun
Druid chick was cute but she had too much spell slots
Which D&D movie is better though?
Old one about army of dragons is so bad it's good
The 2023 flick is the only one worth watching.
>2023 looksmatch
Here's how things go on Cinemaphile:
>Film comes out
>The 5 or 6 people on Cinemaphile who actually go to the cinema say it's good
>Everyone calls them shills and ignores them
>Months pass
>When it comes out on pirate sites/streaming, more people watch it and complain that nobody told them it's good
