that was one of the best depictions of actual knight combat in cinematic history. thats often how it actually went. half swording was very common, and it often ended with both of them grappling in the mud trying to slip a dagger between a weak point in the plates.
He was woefully miscast though. Henry V was a huge man and a proud fighter. He was definitely not a twink. Pattinson should have played him instead and Timothy should have switched with him
Yeah and i think they went a little too much with the sanctity of his character. Still i think it was a very dign performance if you forget about historical precision because it's based on the shakespeare play.
I guess pattinson could have nailed it too but he plays despicable gross dudes so well. Loved him in the devil all the time too
Pattinson was great in it. I really liked that the armour had weight and close quarters fighting was a brawl. The use of the daggers was ubiquitous. Great soundtrack too. Probably the obly movie netflix produced that i really enjoyed
>goes hard
when you stop talking like a Black person, Black person.
Timmy got me bricked up.
is "goes hard" considered ebonics? im sorry i didnt know
Imagine how great this would have been if that plank of wood wasn’t the main character
This is that best fighter in England I was telling you about.
how old is the actor here

Women and girls go crazy for this. That's why Elliott Page thought he had a chance.

Ridliesque
when i saw it was made by Netflix i just ignored it but damn im glad i saw it today
I like how in that one fight they just start grappling in armor, I'm sure that shit happened but you don't see it portrayed often
It probably happened more often than not irl

This is what I thought. There were some missteps historically, but that first knight on knight melee was prime cut kino
All it was missing was some fricking heraldry. So close history-bros
one of the good latest medieval movies, the other one was the last duel. couldn't been able to find a good shit besides these two.
Did you ever ask?
i did years ago and all i saw was

It does. Timothy is great here too. Especially towards the end.
