Zack Snyder is an awful writer and creator. He has an eye for visuals I will give him his flowers for that, but somewhere along the line along comic books panel for panel, frame by frame gave him the idea he was better than he thought at anything other than visual film making. And studios kept giving him leighway to do so with no control mechanisms in place to reign his stupidity in.
So we’re just ignoring the direct translation of the watchmen being a phenomenal recreation? The visceral action in 300 as it recreated the Frank Miller panels?
Suckerpunch wasn’t even a good movie, but the visuals are outstanding and he deserves credit for that.
Until release I unironically thought this was a Star Wars movie
>an eye for visuals
I don't even know if I'd say that. RM looked like trash, with horrible camera focus. It honestly seems that Zach has a very narrow set of skills, and it requires a concept that's already been 90% developed.
>Why did Rebel Moon flop so hard?
because it's a bad movie?
Also I don't believe self reported data from any company and you are a massive moron if you do that
Good fiction whether scifi or fantasy requires some amount of cohesiveness instead of feeling like a kitchen-sink of fantasy motifs. Lacking that, it needs to make up for it with some kind of a hook or novelty that can fascinate a fanbase.
There's nothing in Rebel Moon that feels worth being a nerd about, it literally is just visual slop.
It was simply way too generic for me, I don't understand why Zack thought it was going to be so amazing. It was some strange hodge-podge of Star Wars and Seven Samurai. I will watch the director's cut simply because it surely has to be better than the original cut that released last year.
>don't understand why Zack thought it was going to be so amazing.
Because morons have been sucking his dick so hard he now believes his own hype. He's hopeless unless he's adapting other people's ideas. Army of the Dead and Rebel Moon exposed him
He's terrible at adaptations too. He doesn't understand basic themes in his source materials. He's okay at making 20 year old "cool" visuals. That's literally it. He's like a moron version of Fincher.
I dont1know about you guys, but hearing there's an extended R-rated version they're dragging their ass on releasing drained all my enthusiasm for the flick. Why wouldn't they release both at the same time?
Because it's all a grift. Snyder is the "extended cut" guy now. This is to keep people subscribed. There was no reason Rebel Moon couldn't be long and R rated because Army of the Dead was. It's all lies
Putting quality aside, it's essentially the first couple of episodes of a miniseries, and it doesn't even do that successfully. Just a less than half assed attempt to establish the characters and setting then its over.

i never even knew it was released
snyder's only good film was suckerpunch

You mean watchmen
>give him his flowers
Stop talking like a fricking nigress you dumb zoomer.
ima gib you dem flowas b***h
Suck my dick cracker. It’s a common term used to acknowledge accolades you butt hurt Black person.
>common
Oh really. Spill your tea queen. Tell me what other nigress slang your half a gay ass thinks is how anyone normal talks.

>leighway
Good morning, sir
nice
So moronic
How did they let that sun turning off go to release? Thats not how it looks irl if someone passes by blocking it
Probably because it's shit
the intended demographic (pajeets and related third worlders) are pirategods
it is shit, that's why
>Why did Rebel Moon flop so hard?
because it's a bad movie?
Also I don't believe self reported data from any company and you are a massive moron if you do that
These are movies? Does Netflix even advertise these anymore?

The director's cut version will solve everything
Rebel Moon what the hell is that?
it's probably a moon that was colonized by Netflix
slurp slurp slurp
JUST
Because people who want "grittier star wars" already have Dune.
I like a lot of Snyder films but I won't touch it because I'm sick of movies about Rebels and rebellions
no advertising or any hype
You kidding?? Here in Italy it got a frickton of pubblicity on TV.
There’s a lot of really bad films on that list
making movies exclusively for pajeets doesnt work when none of them can afford netflix
Snyder went full woke to appeal to Twitter and made the cast full of women and minorities.

>Finally I get to eat Sofia Boutella.
Yummy.

Man all of those movies suck
are any of these even worth watching. i'm guessing not really
I seen the guilty and it was OK
Holy shit. There are some truly terrible movies on that list. And there's no way that many people actually sat through the entirety of Red Notice.
I assume if someone watches even 5 seconds of something, Netflix counts that as a viewer.
Are you really surprised something with the 2 biggest movie stars in the world got a lot of viewers? I'm frankly surprised it wasn't even more popular
lutherbros we won
>less views than the fricking cgi kiss movie
holy frick
>don't look up
>that high
frick sakes.
Never underestimate the average npc consoomer
i liked it
I dont1know about you guys, but hearing there's an extended R-rated version they're dragging their ass on releasing drained all my enthusiasm for the flick. Why wouldn't they release both at the same time?
Probably because the R-rated cut will be recieved even worse than the PG13 one
Because it's all a grift. Snyder is the "extended cut" guy now. This is to keep people subscribed. There was no reason Rebel Moon couldn't be long and R rated because Army of the Dead was. It's all lies
Why are some of the bars grey and some black?
It was so shit that even the disciples of Snyder couldn't defend it
You should have been here when it released
