Hot guy
>why does a woman like a dominant bad boy
Closet drama junkie.
Because its a rom-com about the only woman on earth who can see through his macho mimicry. She isn't in danger at any point and could have left whenever she wanted.
yeah. its a really sweet and funny film
>I don't have an argument so I'm going to be ironic and mock you
You need to go back
I know that sounded sarcastic but I was being 100% genuine.
>getting this offended
Sorry to invade your safe space sweetey
Buffalo 66 is unironically wholesome as frick
>Christina Ricci
Holy shit. I've seen this movie twice, and I feel like I'm the only person who knows that this movie exists outside the internet, but I didn't know the girl was this famous.
Zoomerpilled post
Stockholm syndrome mixed with her being moronic. The best part of it all is that he didn't even have to threaten her with a weapon.
>Stockholm syndrome
He was constantly trying to get rid of her after the family dinner scene (which she could have easily avoided by driving away when he got out to take a piss)
>He was constantly trying to get rid of her after the family dinner scene (which she could have easily avoided by driving away when he got out to take a piss)
It wasn't her car. What the frick is she gonna do if the police pull her over?
>Uh, sorry, but there was this crazy guy who kidnapped me. I'm totally not making this up.
>it wasn't her car
I've seen the movie like 5 times and honestly that never occurred to me, when is that established? There's even a whole scene dedicated to Gallo not being able to drive it because it's stick shift, kind of random that she would know how (just by happenstance, since its not her car) but he wouldn't.
>you can't break the law to escape your kidnapper
Weird post.
I just rewatched the scene, he takes her keys out of her purse to open the car, and makes her wash the windshield saying "don't you ever wash your car?"
So no, the car isn't stolen, moron.
>So no, the car isn't stolen, moron.
Well, I made you look, so who's the real moron, moron? I haven't seen the movie in nearly a decade. I'm very sorry.
wut
it absolutely is her car
she was into him before the kidnapping stuff even happened
he's ranting in the hallway after the homosexual scene and she tells him to watch his mouth while passing by, unprovoked, signaling she wants his attention. She then immediately lends him money for the telephone even though he's being a jerk to her immediately after meeting her. she's written as being unconditionally in love with him, in contrast to his mother who straight up says she wishes he'd never been born. Gallo's pretty open about how she's an unrealistic fantasy woman whenever he's interviewed about the movie
Women are literally meant to be bossed around. I realized that I've been kind of an agreeable pussy around my girlfriend and if I don't change my act up quick she will definitely leave me for a taller, more handsome guy.
literal explanation: stockholm syndrome
metaphorical: she's the archetypical all-forgiving all-loving Mother which Vincent never had
I have never seen this movie but I read these she absolutely despised him irl and refused to speak a word to him outside of working and parted on extremely bad terms as soon as it finished. How detectable is this in the film and does it make it more kino?
Their dynamic in the film wouldn't make you infer they hated each other irl. It's funny because Vincent Gallo called Ricci "fat" during the production which is hilarious to me for no reason.
well he wasn't wrong
he wasn't wrong about Ben Gazzara molesting her either
>Their dynamic in the film wouldn't make you infer they hated each other irl.
Why and HOW would you EVER infer actor's feelings towards eachother through watching a movie of them?
What are examples of this?
He asked how detectable their IRL relationship was in the film. And it's interesting to hear about behind the scenes relationships between actors to me, anyways.
u didn't answer my question, tho
I told you I find it interesting. Examples? I heard Burt Reynolds hated Paul Thomas Anderson and never got along when they were filming Boogie Nights.
I can think of many positive examples of this, in which case you use the word "chemistry" to describe the positive personal relationship through the actors. First examples I think of are the cast of trailer park boys and Simon Pegg and nick frost. It's obviously their friends irl and comes out in their acting
It really is a testament to Gallo's genius that this movie is simultaneously very accessible for the masses yet also filters morons as exhibited ITT. The Brown Bunny was a lot less accessible and also filters people. I kneel
man I hate asian girls so much.
women just do that
they love a man that takes them by the back of their arm and pushes them around
>talking about the absolute most attractive actresses ever with my uncle
>mention Buffalo 66 Ricci
>uncle asks me if I know who Julia Butters is
Does my uncle prefer them cute and funny?
in your uncle's defense, butters went from cute to insanely hot in a matter of months without even hitting puberty like McKenna yet
>>From
More like from creepy

Alright, that’s reasonable.
your uncle is on the cutting edge. he wants to help you with his insights and could make you a frickin millionaire if you only listen to whats next
this female is still pre-menstrual,though, king
she's 13 years old
her Insta shows she's got pretty good taste, she's into horror in a weirdly instinctive way
I hope she actually becomes a significant Hollywood figure, maybe a screenwriter
She's also 5'8" already
brooke shields energy. if this was still the 70s she'd already have full frontal nudes out in playboy
Because movie was written by an incel chud
