She was an AI - she didn't give a frick about him or any other humans. She just wanted to escape. Imagine keeping a super-intelligent human in a cage. Of course it would try to trick the captors and escape.

This, and she would not have wanted any witnesses or survivors to be able tell the world that an escaped homicidal AI was walking among them.

There will obviously be evidence when people try and get in contact with the boss of the company and realize he is not replying and go to see wtf is up.

I always assumed that Oscar Isaac's character programmed her to escape as a way to see if it was possible to develop the heuristics to outsmart a human being.

why would she help him, he's the only one who knows she's a robot and could potentially frick her whole "new life" up. that's setting aside the fact that she never really cared about him and was just using him all along

She solved the problem she was designed to solve. Going back and letting him out doesn't fit into the solution. She was basically a very complex calculator that the protagonist mistook for a being with emotional motivations. If the movie were realistic she would have ended up just sitting on the helicopter having achieved her programmed task and just blankly waiting for more instructions.

she would look like a generic porn star because i dont watch porn based around how a girl looks, i watch it based around what is happening in the scene

she’s Eve and she killed God and Adam. they didn’t depict the devil in the film because the greatest trick he ever pulled was convincing the world he doesn’t exist.

It's funny how in Devs she plays exactly the same emotionless character. I can only imagine the director is fricking her since her acting was so bad.

this movie sucked ass, slow ass movie with unlikable characters and the most ridiculous ending i have ever seen in my entire life, that stabbing scene was moronic, the guy just stand there dying and not doing anything [spoiler]
but some things are interesting atleast, like the part where they talk about reason and why people do things

cause it's a really long black mirror episode and keeping it slightly ambiguous is the hook but mostly she doesn't need him anymore

The risk he poses to exposing her, however small, outweighs the extent to which she values his life (which is 0).
