Why did these films filter millennials so badly?

Pretty much everyone else recognize them for the masterful works of art they are, so what's up?

    >boomers mald that the force isn't for everyone
    >the fight scenes are incredible but make the OG fight scenes look bad retroactively
    >people are mad about jar jar

watching them again after learning about sith jar jar makes them even better than they were the first go around. easily better than the originals.

It's very clearly intentional. he uses force powers multiple times throughout the series. they animate his lips moving when he isn't talking when he is using tricks on people. he actually crowns the chancellor as emperor.

it's absolutely worth a read and a rewatch for anyone who likes star wars.

The Darth Jar Jar theory is pants on heads moronic and clearly was never George's intention. The whole point of the character is that he's a Holy Fool. That's why things magically keep going right for him during the battle at the end of TPM because even though he's a fool he also has a pure heart but this is also how Palpatine is able to take advantage of him.

He uses force powers multiple times throughout the movies. That makes him a jedi or a sith. his meteoric rise from outcast to senator was done via his powers or his connections with palpatine. the voice actor even tweeted out that the "theory" was right.

Again, it's immediately apparent if you read the theory and then actually re-watch the show. He is probably the most powerful sith lord we ever saw in canon.

I don't understand why zoomers call him Darth Jar Jar when back in the day we'd jokingly call him Darth Darth Binks, which rolls off the tongue so much better.

The sequels suck too. One being bad doesn't make the other good. Are all prequelgays this moronic? That explains why you like those objectively shit movies.

The prequels suck but Palpatine is great. He just loves being evil!

        They're fun though

The prequels are peak midwit. If you like episode 3 because it is a heckin' greek tragedy and le biblical allusions you are a pretentious homosexual and much more stupid than you think.

Why is Anakin Skywalker born of a virgin woman? Is George Lucas saying something about the Bible? Some sort of critique or unique insight? No, he's just making a 1:1 character because the Bible is a great work and George thinks allusions to great literature will make his slop great by proxy. There is nothing profound about the prequels

In the first one the tone is all over the place. You got jar jars hijinks and then half an hour of galactic senate politics drama, then a big battle. The 2 others are there to sell toys and video games, which is fine, there's cool shit in them

It's very funny the that the same people who cheered on the middle eastern wars, wholly swallowed 9/11, whole heartedly accepted the holocaust as the national religion, and sold everyone who had any questions up the creek as a weirdo were the same people who couldn't understand a movie about a small group that hates everyone that isn't them, embedded in a complex political structure and devoted to a dark religion could manipulate the entire world to do wars to covertly advance their own agenda. Funny.

Same reason this show filters millennials. It was after their time and they can't into 2000s kino. No one thinks the prequels were good but they were fun and had soul unlike the sequels.

    >Whew! It feels like forever but finally, Star Wars is back!!
    >To say nothing of the story, the atmosphere of the world and the designs are wonderful. I am one of those who have been bitten by the bug and I am bursting with excitement.
    >It’s been a loooooooooooooong wait for the 4th movie.
    >I’m really excited!
    >Personally, I don’t have much interest in the people in this series, so Darth Vader appearing as a child doesn’t do much for me, (I’m only looking forward to Ewan McGregor). But watching the trailer, the mecha, robots, aliens and such, all have really great designs. The SFX also look considerably impressive.
    >It’s going to be really fantastic! I can’t wait!
