The plane jump isn't most unbelievable part for me. The single tracking shot from jumping out of the plane until they hit the ground looks pretty good. It's the fall from the giant cliff to the river with its 3 separate shots to try and sell it that's the most unbelievable.
jeez I hadn't seen ToD in years and I took homosexuals complaining about that scene at face value, the actual fall is completely sold as believable high adventure with the effects
The fridge is one of those things that's another level past cartoony where your brain starts to wonder if the writer hates the audience
Uhm ackshully he didn't do this. Technically this was all CGI and none of that happened!
Sorry sweety. Maybe um watch the movie all the way and pay full attention or something??
They wanted to have a big fricking CGI nuke scene is why. Cool in concept but obviously the execution was lacking. I know Indy survives a lot of ridiculous bullshit in all the movies but watching that fridge literally fly MILES AWAY while flipping over and bouncing all over the place was just too much, especially since Ford already looked so fricking old in Crystal Skull. Him climbing out of the fridge basically unscratched was just silly and not in a good way.
Strange, 15 years ago Ford looked ridiculously old to me for this type of movie (we were already making jokes like “Indiana Jones and the Retirement Home of Death”). Now he looks positively youthful on this picture.

He was 66 playing a 58 year old. Now he's 80 playing 70.
Love how Mike says the raft falling out of the plane was the most unbelievable thing to happen in the indy series even when this shit exists.
Kek
Crystal Skull never happened
I'm so glad they stopped after raiders. The rumors of the sequels they wanted to make sounded awful.
>Mike
It was Rich who said that. I don't think they were considering Indy 4 during the Re:View at all.
Plinkett said Temple of Doom was his favorite one.
In Temple of Doom they jump out of a airplane on a inflatable raft.
They were close to a snowy mountain and just slid down.
It at least makes sense in an overhyped way

This. Its just politically correct to hate the movie.
Agreed. The plane jump isn't that far off from those guys who jump out of helicopters and ski down mountains

part time

its a nod to back to the future
the way to time travel is to use mirrors very large mirrors in a hexagon shape around you you can remote view a lot of shit though time.
Every Indiana Jones sequel sucks
The prequel was the best
They thought it was a good idea
everything that sucked about Kingdom of the Crystal Skull worked amazingly in Tintin.
Spielberg just needed the right vehicle.
Tintin was kind of boring. Cartoon physics mean there’s no danger or tension, it’s empty spectacle that gets old because it goes on too long.

You grew older anon-kun.
I used to think people in their 30s looked ancient. Now they look like they're still 24
He was 66 playing a 58 year old. Now he's 80 playing 70.
It was kino of the highest order though.
To tempt kids to jump inside old fridges
This scene literally had me at the edge of my seat
Edge of your seat because you were considering getting up and leaving the theater?
It's a fun family movie and not for bitter virgins???
