There's fan-run servers. A little jank and very few other people, but it's playable.
That's nice. I'm always happy when server software makes it to the community. I played it for a bit because I had the impression it was dying and it might be my last opportunity but I didn't have the time to invest. Hopefully the fan servers have XP multipliers and shit.
No clue if any public servers have XP mults, but you can grab the server files and change how much XP monsters drop, though that's a long and tedious process, and spin up your own server. No other players though, obviously.
