The humor in KFP2 are unfunny, and most of the dialogue is stiff, forced and corny. Lord Shen, the soothsayer and the wolf boss aren't fleshed out characters either.

yeah it's kind of funny the whole reason Jackie in Jackie Chan Adventures isn't actually voiced by Jackie Chan himself is because they very early in the show's development realized his English isn't good enough to be legible when voicing an animated character compared to him in a live action movie
She was supposed to be a similar character to Tai Lung, a very strong child with potential to become the Dragon Warrior. That reminded Shifu of him, thus putting Tigress, Tai Lung, Shifu, and Po intertwined in the movie's first plot.
Also some character development with Tigress feeling angry at not becoming the Dragon Warrior like Tai Lung and Shifu distancing himself from Tigress and the other students to avoid another mistake.
Because she's the only one that matters.
