Special forces guys are some of the only truly competent people in the United States military. It helps that they're all psychopaths who enjoy the act of taking a human life so they end up putting their all into their work.

No, they're competent in general. The last time Wagner tussled with them like a hundred Wagner dudes got killed while on the American side one guy got injured. You can seethe all you want but American special forces are the real deal, especially compared to the rest of the American military which is basically adult day care for morons.

… Black person you’re talking about how viable real world soldiers with no real capacity for lateral thought would deal with Agents.

The answer is they’d be annihilated if they could even comprehend the idea that the people giving them orders were the bad guys.

You are arguing with people that don't understand that SOPFOR are required to know things, insert in small, mobile units, and therefore prefer to attack the unaware as it gives them the advantage. All plans go breasts up and they always, always end up figuring it out (thinking adjacently, not laterally) because the intel is always old by the time it hits the chalkboard.

Many speak multiple languages, can fix an engine with a twig and a shoelace, and generally understand, unlike these rubes, that it's easier to grease the proper wheels with coin than it is to kill a bunch of goatfrickers and go from a general trespassing nuisance to enemy number one.

you mean why hackers became redpills? because they are the people most likely to see patterns and bugs in the simulation which makes them most likely to start doubting it.

also in the animatrix they kinda show how athlethes that push the physical limitations of the human body can also break the simulation by sheer force of will

because the wachowskis didn't want to make them.

because the point of the series was to increase awareness of the falseness of modern society, not provide a vicarious release valve for rebellious sentiment to make people more complacent.

They made "Matrix 4". I skipped through it just to get a feel what it was about. All I saw was a Netflix adaptations-like look. Absolute shit.

I am not joking. If you haven't seen it yet, DO NOT DO IT. It will ruin the magic.

So I actually wish they didn't do anything at all with the franchise and just stopped at the third movie.

nah, its got some nice loredumps for loregays, but the movie itself is garbage, on purpose from both larry and the studio, because lana didn't want to make it, but the studio told him they'd do it with or without her.

Even this music video managed to be more Matrix like than the 4th one:

They made at least two video games and an anthology movie with several stories including anime. That's plenty. It explained the back story, the story as seen from other ships in zion, and the story from other people who started to see falsities in the matrix. There doesn't need to be "countless". When the story is done and told, it is DONE. That's literally why Larry made Matrix 4 as dogshit as possible. So they'd stop trying to endlessly shoehorn in more and more making it stupid and soulless, after it already is finished on a high note.

they lived in a digital world and hackers are the most useful to penetrate and manipulate the system

they also found ways to give you instant knowledge so combat skills would be a given regardless

Its because the ethos of hackers in the 90s lent itself to redpilling. That's why years later the skater punk kid breaks himself out of the matrix and becomes a fanboy of Neo, since the skater punk surge followed the hacker surge. It's not really clear how time progresses in the Matrix but it seems to basically follow our real life timeline.

    1. they recruited people at a young age
    2. they wouldn't really be navy seals
    3. the most important quality of a new recruit is whether or not they're ready to accept that the world they live is a lie, not their physical abilities or training, since all of those could just be overcome within the matrix, or downloaded into their brain.

  21. 8 months ago
    Anonymous

Morpheus literally said that the reason most people escaped the matrix is their affinity for disobedience which is also the exact opposite of the military but fits the 2000s hacker mindset.

Amd pecial forces don't bring any unique skills that can't be replicated by downloading data into the brain (neither do hackers though). Physically they're exactly the same in the real world.
