Well, the american dub voice actor sounded like a 60 year old chain smoking woman even though he's supposed to be male.

I only saw Capt Marvel in the theatre 17 times. Maybe 50 altogether on blueray (4K + BR3d). I’m also quite svelte and intelligent, which the ladies love.

I'm still really confused as to why Marvel hired her in the first place. She has no credentials. If they wanted specifically a black female writer/director, there are a shit ton to choose from that have film credits that cannot be counted on one hand, unlike Nia DaCosta. Before Marvels, DaCosta directed four movies. FOUR. She wrote TWO full length movies. That's it. And none of those movies would have given her any sort of experience she'd need to wrangle a big budget, CGI-fest action flick.
Marvel has been like that for a while. They hire indie and television directors who are easier to meddle with. Name one non-Spider-Man Jon Watts movie without looking it up.
