Why didn’t Steven suffer consequences for this? He uprooted a gem acting independent choosing to do what she wants (live solitary, train, etc). He tried to get her to join his shitty gem preschool, he murdered her when it was just supposed to be training, he mindbroke her into thinking she was his slave and she still refers to him as her Diamond in this last episode while he got hugs and therapy

he chose to run away just like his mother did
the lesson is people don't learn anything
Steven is the ideal man, according to the women who write this show- aka, he's a woman in outward behavior, but secretly strong and masculine. That's because these women, in their conscious mind, want a man who's weak and feminine, but in their subconscious mind, want a man who's strong and will boss them around. So the character of Steven ends up pulled between what the writers consciously write him as- hyperemotional, whiny, no self control or awarness. And what they subconsciously write him as- ordering, demanding, headstrong. The result is someone with the mind and emotional maturity of a woman, yet the power and controlling nature of a man. A monster.
Or you know... a teenager
Prove me wrong, you can't
>Mindbreak a strong female
>Make her submit to your will
>Disregard her entirely
Feckin' Based
Steven could be tried for more than one attempted murder this season and the show ignores that completely.
People who like this garbage season must be people who went through trauma and think a show replicating that experience automatically makes it good, ignoring how said trauma is being depicted with a teen almost murdering multiple innocent people on his tauntrums, while real life traumatized people at worst just break stuff.
Inserting real-life emotional problems in exaggerated fantasy situations is the worst thing about modern cartoons
Tried? By whom? Humans don't give a shit and gem society is in a state of ruins, Steven can, did and almost got away with murder and there's nothing stopping him from doing it to another gem.
You just described why this universe and story is bullshit
>Greg tells him to go on a road trip
>Gets angry
>At the end, goes on a road trip
Isnt the pink penis consequence enough?
>he mindbroke her into thinking she was his slave. Despite never having met her, Jasper is extremely loyal to Pink Diamond. That ending was just Jasper finally excepting him as "her" Diamond.
Which in retrospect is kind of funny. She didn't accept that Steven and Rose as different people before accepting it as the end of SU. But then in SUF she went to seeing Steven and Pink Diamond as the same entity after she got healed.
Jasper was a bottom that was only pretending to be a top. She likes being used.
So a service-top?
I believe the term is a power bottom
Power bottom implies shes dominant
Wait, is Jasper a paper tiger?
yep
Because it's a bad show
the only good episode of steven universe shippuden to be honest, the rest of the teases in the op didn't live up to the hype.
Ironically it's what's not teased that turn out to be the best episodes.
This whole season arguably actually makes all the complaints towards Steven in the original series seem mild in comparison.
Steven was only ever a good character in the Movie and it's ironically where he actually is throwing hands.
