Cast is not sexy enough and the final quarter of the movie is kind of not good but it's sadly a trend that these high budget Sci-Fi/Fantasy films underpeform (see John Carter, Pacific Rim, Warcraft, Alita: Battle Angel).

It's pretty shite, and the main plot is bad. Only redeeming thing in the film is the sequence in the beginning which is one of the best and most positive hopeful humanity fuel I've probaby ever seen.

The first 30 minutes is kino. The rest of it is boring, no chemistry shit, with a fish eyed sheboon who can't act. Shame really. There's a ton of story in this franchise and could have been at least three good movies.
Only anime I can think off resembling this closely.
The comic it was based on (L'ambassadeur des ombres) was way better. Besson fooled around too much with the material.

The plot is a boring rehash of The Fifth Element, but it is visually appealing and fits in with today's weird hair color subcultures.
