it honestly wasn't that bad. if they hadn't flipped out on the release date it could have found an audience. Hollywood israelites make no sense sometimes.

I needed to get out of the house during COVID and saw it at a drive in of all things. One of the best entertainment I had that year.
Movie was just so-so though.

My schizo theory is that Disney paid to tank this movie so they could get X-Men in MCU. Movie was not great but better than at least half the X-Men movies
Your theory is extremely stupid given it was due out in 2018 but Fox repeatedly delayed it for reshoots they never actually got around to doing. Disney released it in 2020 by contractual obligation.

I watched it on HBO. I did not think it was good but I did think it was better than the majority of X-Men movies.
