The problem is that American capeshit is so limited that it forces the gay crap into its regular books. There's always talk about how can we make existing characters diverse, how can we add queer content to our books, etc.

Whereas manga has so much variety that they just make separate gay shit for people who want that. Everyone gets what they want because the Japs understand market demographics and how to cater to them individually.

Also why do American comic books and Japanese manga have to compete against each other in countries why not do more crossover stuff?

Because it's not that easy to organize a crossover also isn't gadget a french hero?

Gadget was made in American cartoon hero because of a lupine the 3 descended animated series was turned down at the last minute and they needed something to replace it;The original Groupon gentleman Thief was from the French books who actually did an official Crossover with silicones and was being made in Japan when licensing agreements in other countries didn't really to not have been making a group on the Lupine the 3 manga series.

Lupin III came to be because japan didn't care about foreign copyrights.
An american Lupin III was easy money though, and the producers, having tied themselves to animation and televising contracts just shat something out overnight.
These days, Maurice Leblanc's works are public domain, Arsene Lupin included.

How would you even do a crossover? There are quite the number of steps to do that.

I remember number of years back they did it Marvel Crossover with Attack on Titans by having those giant monsters show up in the world of Marvel. You basically do crossovers by doing isekai some people from one series or setting into another world's franchise.; Ifthe settings are too different what happens in my image is simple enough yet you don't necessarily know about the two of them directly lupine the third third did Crossover with case close.

Hello foreign business I seem to like your IP and think we could do good business together now. Do you like money? I like money. Would you like to make money with me by doing a crossover people will buy?I know we're not from the same country but I do know that you happen to do a lot of business with a number of other companies in my country.

Funnily enough Inspector Gadget is also anime, or at least a descendant of it.

In 1982 TMS Entertainment (creators of Luin III) and DIC Audiovisuel were working together to develop a series called Lupin VIII, which would have been about Lupin III's distant future descendant. The show fell through but they studios decided to salvage the project by repurposing some assets, which eventually became Inspector Gadget.

OPM's character designs, especially mecha/mechanic ones, are pretty cool and I am saying this as someone that has not watched/read the series.

      I hate these people
worst I bet they actually read both on average, don't listen to them saying "manga is better" when they come back here every week

obviously they read both which is why they're always pissed off. People like the idea of big 2 capeshit but seethe, often rightfully so, over the current state. Like who enjoys the past year of batman for example even if that's your favorite character

Half the picture for average modern comic book hero are from a comic book and never even got published and was just a limited series what's your problem? Why are you so obsessed with trans people? And I watch and read anime and manga for 8-year-olds they had LGBT individuals in them when I was a child.

The difference is Japan's LGBT heroes still do bad ass stuff instead of wasting their skills staging protests and whining about student debt.

I read both, manga and some DC comics. The latter I can't do anymore. I don't what I was thinking getting into DC despite all the warnings. It tainted the characters for me, now it's hard to enjoy them at all in any medium.

Honestly the entire site should put to a vote whether Cinemaphile can exist anymore because it really taints the whole "Japanese culture inspired" and the mediums discussed are dying.

Modern anime sucks. I do not give a shit about most shonen MCs theyre typically annoying tweenagers and i dont like all the shitty isekais into a video game plot point thats inexplicably being reused to death in anime now
