Less age and more wealth/early success removing your drive as you become embraced and have less people to prove yourself to. Once you're comfortably sitting on 6-7 figures and you've figured out how to make that passive income your days of adversity are over, barring a sudden health turn.
Look at every comedian podcast that got even moderately successful. You can point to about two good years before the hosts got rich off patreon/ad deals and then they're inundated with comfort and luxury.
