Hard mode: Don't be political
on ep 4 right now. I guess he's gonna fight Jai Courtney soon?
politics, shame because it's actually kino
yes
>I guess he's gonna fight Jai Courtney soon?
lol it's so much better than that.
sounds good still watching
And he's not even the final boss
I wouldn’t exactly call it a fight.
Pratt isn't one of ~~*them*~~ and there isn't a bunch of sjw bullshit being rammed down our goddam throats.
never heard of this movie but since it's chris pratt i'm sure it's some mindless action shlock/american propaganda with zero artistic merit
>t. homosexual
it's an adaptation of a military thriller novel homie lmao frick outta here muh artistic metit
>never heard of this movie but since it's chris pratt i'm sure it's some mindless action shlock/american propaganda with zero artistic merit
this is exactly my opinion and the lame attempts from shills responding to this post made me sure its the correct one
>doesn't bend the knee to wokism propaganda
>is forced to take roles that mentally ill wokists deem as 'right-wing propaganda'.
Yes, but that's why it's awesome
I certainly hope so, I'm ready for another dose
Probably, but woke culture has become so infectious in popular media that people treat shitty military schlock as a corrective. I watched the first episode and it's garbage. Pratt was good, though. I didn't know he could actually act.
you’re correct ignore the seething replies from conservatives who have a vendetta against rotten tomatoes
>american propaganda
We know what ~~*you*~~ are.
pretty much, the Black person has never done anything good with his life. only reddit likes him for his beyond stupid "comedy"
Moneyball was the great American kino of the early 00s. It’s up there with Moby Dick in terms of artistic merit.
Your baseless assumptions are homosexual and, very likely, transsexual.
>mindless action shlock/american propaganda with zero artistic merit
Probably. I stopped watching american movies altogether 2 years ago and it's been great. I see more kino and am not exasperated by the blatant propaganda anymore (one way or the other, both species of american hooligans are annoying as frick).
because its kino that contradicts their politics
>American flag on my hat!
>White male lead
>high testosterone
>no gay sex scenes
I think I figured out why the critics don't like it
>every far-right extremists wet dream of killing government agents that keep us safe after a failed insurrection at the capitol on 1/6 where we almost lost our democracy.
I wonder why
far-right extremists wet dream of killing government agents that keep us safe after a failed insurrection at the capitol on 1/6 where we almost lost our democracy.
>I wonder why
>People falling for this extremely obvious bait
>crisp rat car bombs the main antagonist
>guns down all his bodyguards
>walks up on the guy crawling on the ground screaming "please, please"
>oh boy here we go, he's about to say something that gets pratt to temporarily stop or so he can get rescued or something else spares him
>rat just guns him down and wanders off
it was all downhill from there, but at least it had the occasional bright spot like these
honorable mentions: the shot of him falling off that cliff and slamming hip-first into a solid upwards-pointed rock full force and then just walking it off
zero chance that didn't obliterate his entire lower body. they really should've just thrown that dummy a second time to have it land in a way that's at least slightly plausibly survivable
>honorable mentions: the shot of him falling off that cliff and slamming hip-first into a solid upwards-pointed rock full force and then just walking it off
zero chance that didn't obliterate his entire lower body. they really should've just thrown that dummy a second time to have it land in a way that's at least slightly plausibly survivable
that exact fall and the unconvincing acting by the navy guy's wife and son were my only real critiques of the whole series tbqh
yeah that fall was horrible, one of my few gripes not sure what they were thinking
the rock broke his fall see. otherwise he would have been going faster when he hit the ground and it would have been game over.
it's a work of fiction so i don't mind seeing him take a superhuman amount of abuse and keep going.
Just watched that part and was okay so he broke his entire pelvis?
It's a perfectly serviceable action/conspiracy thriller. Also blatant neo-con propaganda, but that's to be expected since there are US military dollars behind its production. At one point Pratt's character, discussing civilians who are skeptical of the SEAL mission, says something like: "all they need to do is pay their taxes and stay out of our way", which kinda sums up the whole show.
It's not super good (Pratt is wholly wooden, the plot is obvious enough that you should be able to figure out all of the twists by the midpoint of the second episode, and everything to do with the reporter and the SecDef in the last two episodes drove me up the wall) but it's also not bad in a remarkable or noteworthy way. I wont ever watch it again, but it also wasn't really a waste of time. At the end of the day I did get to see Chris Pratt use a shaped charge on a business bro.
>plot explicitly deals with informed medical consent and ethics of pharma and govt
>christ pratt is a good guy with a gun
>conservative mexican family helps him
>journo does actual journalism and goes against big govt and big corporation
critics are liberals and this show is anything but liberal
they reflexively hate conservative things
Conservatives have been anti-war for awhile, progressives are the ones kicking and screaming about us getting out of the middle east and are trying to start a nuclear war with Russia and China.
Not the same thing, the "war" in this movie is not that type of war
the exit from afghanistan was a disaster no matter how you cut it. now that war obviously had to end someday. a 20 year war is ridiculous. but those 20 years were wasted when biden unilaterally pulled us out.
i don't see the biden administration rushing to get into a shooting war with russia either.
Progressives love war but hate the people who fight in them, conservatives hate war but love the people who fight in them. Neocons and neoliberals can get fricked.
>Conservatives have been anti-war for awhile
Don't you need to be 18+ to post on alt.Cinemaphile.tv?
>he mistakes neo-cons for conservatives
I might ask you the same, bucko
Right, so they only vote for and empower a group of "neocons" who then carry out wars, but they're not actually in favor of that. Man, must be nice, not taking any responsibility or blame because your philosophy, which you don't practice, says you're following a more enlightened path.
Thanks in advance for the (You).
Because it's extremely conservative
Because they’re ideologues who can’t fathom the government being evil. Anything conspiratorial when it involves government is seen as “right wing” now. Things are getting absolutely insane.
Only when a Republican is in office, even though most of thenprogressive agenda happens under 'fascist occupation'
Because liberals know the government and most of the corporations are on their side, an attack on those things is an attack on them
WHERE ARE THE BLOODY JOKES???
WHY ARENT YOUR DADS WATCHING STRANGER THINGS AND DISNEY+ AND EUPHORIA????
>i-is that a christian white male?
>AHHH CRACKERMAN I'M GOING INSANE
>a geek community
I hate nerd culture so fricking much its unreal
Oy vey these goys better stay in line. How do they think of hurting their masters
>IT NEEDS HUMOR BECAUSE IT JUST DOES OKAY
Is that Cowboy Cerrone?
yes
Why is this show so fricking dark? Whoever's doing the cinematography or the color grading is a fricking moron.
Yawn.
It's edited moron. Read the thread. What am I even saying. Probably needs more lasers for you.
>female SEAL
lmao bullshit fricking where is she?
>stronk reporter
The frick are you talking about? She was a war correspondent. At what point was she stronk?
>army womyn leader
Where? The Secretary of Defense? You don't know what they do?
>pozz
You're fricking moronic and don't know what words mean and you don't even know what the frick you are talking about you fricking stupid piece of shit. Shut your dumb ass up.
i wish they had gone to trouble to make various torso props of the guy with his guts getting ripped out. felt kind of cheap we only see one strand of intestine.
some book anon said Reece also beheads a haji in a mosque? Any book readers have context
sounds based. death to fundie muzzies.
Yes but all the other muzzies too though.
I agree with muslims on a lot of things, why should I be cheering that they're slaughtered by a goy warrior
This is absolutely NUTS! Never seen such a unapologetic show, especially in this political climate.
I have to search acronyms and terms every goddamn episode. All this operator jargon and D.C. terms.
For example? I just watched this and nothing jumped out as anything a 7 year old wouldn’t know.
• FOIA
• SDR
• DCIS
• QRT
• HRT
• BOLO
• FinCEN
• PMC
• ISR
Some 7-year old you know.
Most of this is way outside of what I would consider "important", yes.
You fricking zoomie dummy, the majority of those are explained while they’re being talked about and who doesn’t know what a BOLO is? Pay attention next time.
FOIA - freedom of information act form, to retrieve gov't records which they have to comply with by law, costs $25 and anyone can get one because that's what they're for (One of the reasons Hillary deleting her emails was a big deal - it was illegal for her to destroy gov't records)
SDR - Out of context I'm not sure
DCIS - Department of something investigating criminals, I had to look it up to make sure I wasn't wrong and I was off a bit
QRT - Quick Reaction Team, on standby at all times so they can be deployed quickly. This was developed to counter guerilla style warfare like hitting a target and running away before the goodguys show up
BOLO - be on the look out
PMC - private military contractor
ISR - out of context idk
thx anon. but I know now what they mean, after searching them.
Just testing myself. Haven't even read a book in...
...
oh god...
this is just skimming quickly through only 2 episodes kek
i want to show the SecDef my TIP
if you get my meaning
You can’t figure out SD stands for sheriffs department in the context of Coronado PD? You might be an idiot. WARCOM is explained 10 fricking times in the first episode. There’s literally a long running tv show called JAG where the guy is doing the exact job this JAG is doing. NAB is the Naval Air Base who’s sign is driven by a million fricking times. It’s not a secret code.
PIT - maneuver which the police ram the rear quarter of the target vehicle causing it to spin. Physics dictates that if pulled off well by the officer it will work 100% of the time
NCIS - ... motherfricker this is Cinemaphile and you DON'T KNOW WHAT NCIS MEANS? kys
MCC - Control and Command
PD - Police department are you fricking stupid?
SD - This must be Sheriff's Department
EOD - Ordinance Disposal. Also known as The Bomb Squad if stateside.
FTF - Federal Taskforce
HRT - Hostage Rescue
CCP - Chinese Communist Scumbag Party
C-2 - surveilance plane
ISR - something about recon
JAG - again, you are on Cinemaphile and you don't know what JAG means? Judge Advocate General. Like the Cinemaphile show. Frick
EUA - Emergency Use Authorization. Basically, an excuse to subvert rule of law to get something done fast.
NAB - Naval Amphib Base
SecDef - Secretary of Defense
CART - computer analytic research team, something like that
NCIS(again) - Shirley, you can't be serious.
WarCom - Warfare Command
TIP - no clue
ISR is intelligence, surveillance, and recon. It’s the us military, they aren’t exactly MIT.
Oh, I hate Pierre Delecto, why did you have to bring him up? What context does he fit here?
I hate Mormons.
TIP = tip of this dick homie lmao got emmm
So, that's like a hotline for detectives?
TIP might mean terrorist interdiction program in this context.
I knew half and could surmise the other half based on context but i just think it's funny how the writers keep shitting out acronyms, I mean I prefer this "pros using pro lingo" over "explain it to me like I'm 5" scenes but it's borderline comical in some scenes, in some ways it feels more like "look we did our homework" instead of organic writing
a buzzfeed tier reporter like Katy who doesn't know about encrypted messaging wouldn't use EUA as an acronym
Emergency Medical Team or something
Magnetic Resonance... shit.
No, it's organic. It's definitely organic.
He beat the paramedics to the brain scan clinic.
There, I translated for the morons on the board.
4U
Fun fact - That's Jack Carr, the author/exec producer he just shot
Jacker? Like... Jack Reacher abbreviated? Man, they really do love abbreviating shit.
>Fun fact - That's Jack Carr, the author/exec producer he just shot
That's nice, Reacher had a similar author cameo. If only Amazon could have the same respect with LOTR or other stuff they're adapting. They're hitting it out of the park with their action series but their fantasy stuff are a travesty.
Reacher was rad as hell. I liked it so much it's convinced me to try out Terminal List. I was avoiding most of their shows cause of what happened to Wheel Of Time and now LoTR, so I was extremely surprised by Reacher.
Not trying to shill, I like this show so far, Reacher isn't really comparable though similar.
Oh yes it is, you must still be at the first episodes that establishes his motivations, he is exactly like Reacher.
Is he a violent Rain Man how Reacher is? Or is he just really capable.
typical numb killing machine
I figured it was a different feel in tone. The synopsis for TL has me interested though, and anything without "THE MESSAGE" is enough for me to at least take a peek at it.
He gets revenge against the glowies.
They seem very hit or miss but their hits are much better than Netflix. Loved Reacher and Terminal List.
Homecoming is another great conspiracy thriller (more psychological), and it basically has the same plot as Terminal List, minus operator revenge. From the Mr. Robot team.
Too Old to Die Young is pure kino, may alienate some but it's Refn without filters
Patriot
ZeroZeroZero
Jack Ryan is iffy quality wise, mediocre showrunners, but it scratches the itch and I have hope S3 will be better
People will dismiss Reacher and Terminal as schlock but I disagree, they're very well produced with solid showrunners, it's what they lacked when they launched Ryan and they clearly improved rapidly (whereas Netflix still doesn't care or understand about the importance of good producers and showrunners).
What's exciting with Terminal is they went from having an underwhelming half-miss (Ryan, which they bet big on but disappointed everyone) and an unexpected hit (Reacher, which everyone expected to be shittier), to two hits in a row, so now the Amazon operator/dadcore brand carries a good level of confidence, and I'm sure numbers will demonstrate there's a huge hunger for this type of content done well.
Amazon and Netflix don't produce shit. They hire outside companies to do all of the work and then slap their logo on it. Weinstein company did House of Cards.
Bezos bought MGM. They're basically running United Artists now. They're taking their in-house production division seriously and hiring the right talent.
Netflix started outsourcing or hiring whoever with zero oversight because they have the issue of having to create OC to flood their platform rapidly as studios started pulling their stuff; they took the quantity over quality approach. They wouldn't even do something like HoC today.
The US military is FULL of acronyms and as an embedded war reporter it’s not unreasonable for her to know all of them. It would sound way worse if they dumbed things like the Freedom Of Information Act down for zoomers with the attention spans of toddlers with Downs Syndrome.
I'm not being facetious when I say that I fricking love when they don't treat the audience like they're fricking moronic. I think this show is as rare as it is great.
>Buzzfeed employee
She says she's been in warzones and covered wars
Did you watch the show you fricking moron?
go watch Generation Kill its much easier to understand
I can not believe the amount of dummies on this thread that got filtered by a Chris Pratt show.
GK is one my favorite shows and I understand all the lingo, I don't mind looking some terms up but the difference is in GK it's an actual language you have to decrypt, it's well done and immersive, but here it's mostly inconsequential, just to add some verisimilitude flavor to otherwise generic dialogues
I'm not the anon who complained about the acronyms but I jumped in when another anon claimed there weren't any obscure ones, I was just amused with the writers over reliance on them to the point of caricature. Those and that fricking bird crashing against the window.
>Odin's Sword
isn't he known for using a spear?
>PIT
moron
It’s nice to see the hostage rescue team get some love .
These acronyms are used by the government and the people the government can potentially send to kill you, and you don't think its important to know what they are?
>These acronyms are used by the government and the people the government can potentially send to kill you, and you don't think its important to know what they are?
Not an ameriburger, anon. I just read on the internet about how you celebrate your independence day shooting up parades.
>he thinks are Americans are the only ones that use these
>he thinks that makes it "important" to learn tactispeak
FOIA is not “tactispeak” what ever that is. You’re a moron of the highest order.
Because you don't know anything about anything important. Educate yourself.
What like JSOC and CIA? You might be too young to watch this show and be on this board kiddo.
Sorry for not knowing all the amerifat alphabet agencies by heart, anon.
Spoken like a true europoor. Congrats.
Official Terminal list (tm) drinking game, take a shot every time:
* an acronym is used
* Reece corner checks
* Reece says "downrange"
* bird smashes against window
>that scene where a hundred birds crash into the window
it's really cringe considering it is only used by globohomosexual zogbots dying for isreal
Lol you lost Palestine, get over it. Pray we stop there and don’t decide to take the whole Middle East.
why did you kill Jesus?
I can't take Chris Pratt seriously
he cute
btw, there're 2 Joe Rogan podcast with the author.
Pratt was interested immediatly apparently but they still changed a lot of things and looks like the author had no choice in it.
I don't know if it's makeup or CGI or both but I still want to bang Jeanne Tripplehorn. Ever since Basic Instinct frick she hot in that
>she shows up for the fist time in the series
>don't recognize her right away
>final do when she starts talking
>mind immediately goes back to her getting bent over a chair in Basic Instinct
My little Secretary of Defense can't be this cute!!
exactly
8.1 is kinda low on imdb for a show. Still certainly better than 34% though
It's comparable to similar Amazon Originals like Jack Ryan and Reacher which is pretty accurate.
i finished it today. it's really dark, without going to "the boys" level of pointless gore it arguably goes deeper darker on an emotional level... which grinds the show down while binging... AS FAR AS CRITICS go, remember when Gene Siskel used to always criticize stuff for being like "needlessly violent/dark"... this reminded me of that.... personally i think it's operator kino and while the story meanders the leads are good and it's better than most of the shit streaming currently
So is this actually good? Like, yeah, I know it isn't pozzed, which is very nice. But is it actually good beyond that?
Yeah it’s pretty good, if it was made in 2004 it would be middle of the road action fare, but now it’s pretty fricking kino.
it's alright. i binged it.
give it a shot
If you like action/military stuff like Jack Reacher and any other Tom Clancy shit, then yeah you'll like it.
Its an okay revenge story.
yes it's good
It's great, if you liked conspiracy kino like Shooter you're going to like this one
>Right-wing revenge fantasies flops yet again
Same as Without Remorse, conservatards never learn
that's not how it works homo
cheap bait consider this a freebie
bros, I want to take that plump asean pussy to pound town
>theres no biracial intersex trans lesbian queer polyarmorous interracial relationship
>therefore, its right wing propaganda!
If I recall Chris Pratt outed himself as a conservative or something along those lines and since Americans are inherently fricked in the head and political everything went downhill for anything he’s been on from that point onwards.
The fact that he’s openly Christian I’m sure doesn’t make the 99% israeli Hollywood to happy either
>l everything went downhill for anything he’s been on from that point onwards.
like guardians of the galaxy?
the tomorrow war was received alright
the only people that care are twitter/reddiot leftoids
>tomorrow war
More like the Black person war
Why do all Americans get blamed when it's only the left wing ones that do this
>everything went downhill for anything he’s been on from that point onwards.
like being even richer and marrying one of the daughter of Arnold?
I mean, barely 10 years ago, he was doing voice over for side caracters in cartoons and video games so I think he's doing alright
pratt became a big deal precisely when he got ripped.
same with jim from the office, just a bit role in a tv show, gets ripped, now he's leading man in ton of shit
there is a lesson there for fatties and DYEL lanklets.
1st episode was KINO as frick.
Opening was Christian as frick too.
I won't be reading this thread just in case you emos are spoiling shit.
Frick critics, frick atheists.
It feels like American fascist fantasy.
1) OMG I got butthurt when I conducted an op badly and got my team killed.
2) To compensate I will create a list and kill everyone on that list. That's why Steven Spielberg hired me, I make lists.
3) When I complete the list I will randomly add a blank name on the end, so I can continue to kill more people with military-industrial culture righteousness.
>1) OMG I got butthurt when I conducted an op badly and got my team killed.
Literally not what happened and you'd know that if you actually watched or finished the series
Lol, America has buttfricked your country in recent history.
~~*critics*~~
I learned a long time ago to trust critics over the public. Half of those audience scores are made up of people who literally have a double digit IQ.
Skeptic here, I haven't finished it yet. Lots of military wankery. But it's actually good. It's telling a story and it has turns.
> It's telling a story and it has turns.
no, it's 8 episodes of Pratt going around shooting people without reason.
At the end a black cop kills him and Obama comes back to give a medal to the real hero of the story.
lol, go find a Disney thread or something if you're going to bullshit that badly
Same level as your moronic question.
>It's telling a story and it has turns.
it's the same story as every fricking (wanabee) Tom Clancy books.
>military dude and his team get fricked over in some secret mission
>military dude survive and go on a solo revenge mission
>military dude realise it's A CONSPIRACY from the big bad government
>military dude discovers that some of his most trusted friends were part of the conspiracy
24 did that for 8 seasons.
Yeah and there’s a reason why 24 got 8 season buddy.
my point is that the story of those shows/movies are always the same.
>solo military dude
>conspiracy
>lots of deaths
that's it. either you like it or you don't.
If you are above the age of 12, you should know that already.
>either you like it or you don't
And my point was the vast majority like it. Shove that insult up your ass, if your dads dick isn’t already up there that is.
where did I said I didn't like it fricking moron??? learn to read.
and if you are this guy
you are not a """"Skeptic""", you are either 8 or a complete moron.
>It has a beginning
>It has an ending
>It's JUST LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE
If Anon Sr's dick is up there there's still plenty of room I bet...
170587651
it's ok to be ignorant about politics but then you should flounder it like that, friendo
>Why do critics hate this show?
Gee, I wonder...
I liked it
I wish they did more of the "is he acutally losing his marbles or not" stuff I was getting convinced he was actually losing it but they kinda dropped that aspect
yeah the first two episodes that was really cool, then they resolve the mission discrepancies OFF-SCREEN and change his memory issues from mission-related head trauma to side effects of the tumor
because they have a good taste and know that pandering to the pleb majority is not a mark of quality.
because the show isn't that good?
it is clear they spent WAY more time teaching chris pratt how to use a gun like an "operator" than shoring up the story and the writing
it's fine as a turn-your-brain-off action show, but if you are the type to actually pay attention to the story and the dialogue than it just doesn't work
mmm yes mmmm, I just saw only action mmmm, no humans speak like this, mmeh mmm the frickover revenge plot was mmmm contriiiiiived mmmm yes...
you are trying to be sarcastic while saying the exact truth, which doesn't make sense
yeah the revenge plot was stupid - the show is essentially a longer, worse-written version of taken
>contrived
i know you don't know what this word means, but no the revenge plot isn't contrived - it's poorly written
ignoring the first two episodes (the writers clearly did), reece only mentions his squad twice again during the rest of the series - once to manipulate riley into helping him by bringing up her rescue, and once to guilt the captain when he says "i have a family" while begging for his life. he also has two hallucinations about his squad - one at the end of episode 7, reliving the tunnels attack (this barely counts, since this was just *his* experience when the trip mine hit him), and right before he jumped off the boat in the last episode. after his wife and child died, he forget about the mission and his squad almost entirely - which means that once navaros died, the revenge plot died too.
if the writing was any good, we would have been shown reece's connection to his squad and the pain of their loss/betrayal. but the writers, and reece by extension, literally forget about the squad until the very end of the show - it is just taken but 7 hours long and the bad guy dies 4 hours in.
>an earnest reply
Frick. Can't really dismiss it with a shitpost. They're rare on Cinemaphile lately.
>doesn't make sense
It does. You are drunk.
>taken
You obviously saw a better version than I did. A guy with special set of skills is all I'm getting out of this.
>ignoring the first two (the writers clearly did)
Ok now I'm being trolled for sure. You mean the entirely in first person setup of the 1st episode was unimportant? 2 is where the ball got rolling because when the Fed said a name it made the 'lol you're crazy' narrative disappear (which I and some other anons liked if you read these threads). I'm not seeing how you think they were unimportant.
>mentions his squad twice
As a writer for the show, I think you'd be on the verge of conflating the deaths. His wife and daughter getting killed was more important and you don't want to jumble it up. If we'd spent more time inside the zone of events during 1, before that one thing happens, it would be used more. I would absolutely have loved more flashbacks of his buddies but lacking that doesn't hurt the show. Also, there's only so much time to be dished out, and like I said, it might be more detrimental to have less family pain than brother pain. His brothers would understand.
...are you talking about Taken 3 where some dying happened?
>If we'd spent more time inside the zone of events during 1, before that one thing happens, it would be used more.
I mean inside the area of events before the wife and daughter get killed, the brothers' deaths would've been used more. And it could've helped to have a friendly face show up sometimes to "remind him" of something he was thinking of or make him laugh out loud in front of irl people at a joke.
I fricked a troony once
>goes back to his house repeatedly unnoticed by the fbi or the cops
This show is only a few “fricks” ahead of any crap on CBS
The only "problem" I saw with it but handwavable since he'd just sneak in anyway. This way saves some time. Or did you miss the part where FTF guy was sitting outside his house while Reese was in there and he didn't know?
You were probably polishing that big brain of yours, I can't blame you for missing it.
I was polishing your moms fat ass
$10 says she'd be polishing yours instead.
bookgays:
what are the main differences in S1?
what are the next books about/are they good?
how do they deal with him being a fugitive with a tumor?
>Ben gets killed in Hartley's estate. Takes Katie hostage and wraps detcord around her neck. Ben threatens to off her and Reese says he doesn't give a frick.
>>So frickin pissed they cut this:
Reese doesn't get attacked by a random Jack Carr merc when he meets Katie the first time in LA. In the book it's a random jihadi who's linked to a "peaceful" Muslim cleric. Reese finds out, goes to the mosque, beheads the cleric and plants his head on a spike of the gates to the mosque.
>Mexico:
>Reese takes down the sicarios solo. Instead of hitting them with Ben and Marco's guy, he goes in at night with NVGs and caps most of the sicarios while they sleep. Comes across two guys spit roasting some prostitute. Kills the one fricking her from behind first, showers the prostitute in blood. Guy getting sucked off doesn't notice until it's too late. Eventually shit gets loud and has to shoot his way out. I think Marco's guys arrive and help him exfill but I can't remember.
>Also, the way he drops the main sicario here, is actually how he kills another guy in Florida. Kidnaps him and takes him out to the Everglades. Guts him and pins his intestines to a tree. Leaves him for dead with gators massing nearby.
>There's other little shit but that's the stuff that jumps out the most. If you liked the show, check out the books. They're thin on plot but packed with detailed brutal and gory kills.
damn, thats way too based for amazon
Just wait until they get to the part where Rhodesia is treated positively
FN FAL time ?
I don't give a shit I love that fricking rifle and never took the carry handle off.
Did you have Channel 3 news in middle school, this was early 90's obvious propaganda with an MTV Kurt Loader flair, I told my parents about it and my teacher kept sitting on my desk in her short skirt so I could see her bush and kept getting me suspended to shut me up. I had a tape recorder and got the entire pod fired.
It's a right-wing extremist power fantasy for boomers and trumpers.
Polcels and discord trannies will fall for this shit bait for the upteenth timenin this homosexual baitbthread.
What is it about and how pozzed is it?
I don't know, just have watched gays on the internet break down as if this is the next holocaust again, until their next patch
Like Shooter but with tactical autism levels off the charts. It's kino.
It's if /k/ wrote a movie.
9mm vs .45 isn't a debate just had on /k/ moron, anyone that isn't a homosexual knows that .45 is superior
Based .45 chads vs cringe 9mm betagays, debate that as endless as time for no good reason
.45 has more recoil that shocks and scares the limp wrist 9mm cuck that needs more ammo because he flinches when he jerks the trigger and misses
Wow, someone got btfo in /k/...
>9mm cuck ever BTFO .45 chads on /k/
coping harder than armatard
I've been pro .45 since '05, buddy. It's just that... They only mentioned /k/ and you went straight for it.
I thought u just pick the bullet shaped most like ur penis
These .45 gays are jealous that my nickname is 'long colt' while they (admittedly) dab on 9mm troonys
>taking a single action revolver into combat as your backup weapon
Okay, you will never be as based as Patton
.357 Magnum
.45 long colt is like 3x the size of a .357 mag. It's a ridiculous size of a round that only masochists pretend that they like to shoot.
Lol it's not that big, but it is hand artillery. I wasn't prepared for it and it tore the webbing from my index finger to my thumb. You really have to squeeze that fricker tight.
Watch the high speed cams of people shooting it in slow motion.
Literally turns your bones into rubber and causes massive microfractures in every bone from your fingers to your shoulder.
>.45 v 9mm autism on Cinemaphile
You have my attention.
HK .45's were contracted to be the standard firearm until somenpolitical fiasco that some political gays madenthe shitty sig 9mm the contract.
*sidearm
>two German gun manufacturers making nearly identical products, one wanted a contract to have exclusive rights to modifications, the other agreed to support third party modifications on the NATO standard picitanny rail system.
It was too bad, HK have made very good platforms since the 70's
I enjoyed it, think the pacing at the end needed work. Didn't list the "twist" didn't make much sense imo
There are more well trained by uncle sam combat veterans outside of the military, the current military is full of homos that aren't battle hardened.
movie looks ok, but don't care for military thrillers
blind military worship is as gay as anything else
It's a thriller though, critics are only kvetching that the government is the bad guy because democrats are in charge right now.
I love how the LARPing tool, Horn, and his fellow LARPing security team were about as useful as a chocolate teapot.
>"okay fanyboy, time to nut up"
2 seconds later
>*dies*
>Why do critics hate this show?
Why don't you just read some of their reviews?
>jingoism
>far-right power fantasy
>made me dilate in the middle of the theater even though I was watching it at home alone on my iphone
>It's as if Clarence Thomas wrote a script
Goddamn critics would pick 9mm if push comes to shove.
10mm>9mm
10mm is a meme round like the 6.5mm happt medium of 5.56 and 7.62
>basically giving up knockdown power for an extra round in the magazine
As the militaries around the world transition back to woodland and mountain warfare the heavier caliburs will make an easy comeback.
5.56 was designednfor the steppes and was completely BTFOnin Veitnam, but was perfect forndesert warfare. The british and NATO knew the ground they would be dying on and chose a .308 battle rifle instead.
.308 is the chad mid range rifle cartridge for individuals, but the US military was using line combat with overwhelming air support and artillery support.
>goes around the world butchering innocent people
>his family get butchered in return
>pic related
are zogbots really like that?
>killing enemies is the same as killing allies
your brain on globohomo
yes
yes
> Hello Ben it's Reece, how is it going brother? I've run out of plot points so please give me something so I can get to the next scene. No, don't tell me how you do it... Just get me the info.
>t. didn't watch the show
50AE>whatever you say
I am watching it. However, episode 6 was so fricking shit that I am now looking back at previous episodes and it's not good at all. It's a shit show.
why does no one remember what Rotten Tomatoes did with picrel?
I feel like im the only sane person left in the world
You might have a brain tumor.
>9mm cucks had to appeal to Black person worshipping Cinemaphile
>.45 chads still undefeated
IT'S OVER.
Only law enforcement defend 9mm as it's an excuse for why they let some homosexual murder children for an hour while arresting chads with a .45 so they couldn't go in and put the fricker down.
>NOOOO WE CANT JUST GO IN AND PUT DOWN THE GUYS KILLING YOUR CHILDREN OUR BULLETS WILL PROBABLY JUST MAKE HIM ANGRIER
I hate 9mm gays so much.
Lol 9mm cucks had to mag dump 100 rounds into a Black person to make sure that he was dead.
The horn scene was fricking hilarious . Also wished they used a. Night vision Camera like zero dark thirty so we can actually see some of the fricking fight scenes.
Why WERE all the scenes so fricking dark?
They'd be standing around in bright daylight in the fricking desert and it'd be colour-adjusted to be dark as balls.
discussion we've had 1000 times about digital
>US lefties are so brainwashed they protect the interests of the federal government and military industrial complex
Bruh
Wtf
They put up rainbow and BLM flags in solidarity with the mentally ill
They are slaves that worship the state and it's parasites
Started watching this afterwards, extremely cliche take on the conspiracy/fugitive CIA thriller and visibly low budget but oddly decent for something that got zero marketing. Main actor is weak but supporting cast is solid. Not sure how I feel about the writing/directing, there's something about it that's too clean and sanitized, young, upbeat and brightly lit, characters all have these millennial snappy sarcastic dialogues, almost like if it were a CW take on 70's paranoia, but like it's done on purpose to lull you into a false sense of comfort and relatability, so it can then pull the rug under your feet as the character realizes everything around him is a well constructed lie hiding ugly secrets. It's either very watered down or very clever.
kek I really laughed at the .45 v 9mm nod that BTFO 9mm gays
>I know chad, if he was going to kill himself he would have used a real bullet, not some homosexual round that we all hated
>I know he would have to shoot himself twice with that 9mm pistol. He'd never do that.
Is admiral Pillar a stand in for admiral Mcraven ? In the books Pillar called a massive leftie by Reece .
israelites and homosexuals hate Christians.
Nothing in there for critics to jerk off about. Not good enough on its own merits for them to want to jerk it off themselves (even if it's more or less fine). Amazon didn't pay enough/anything for a good review. gaygier critics actually believing that it is actually right-wing
Frick I just want a spin off movie where Jack Ryan is hunting down James Reece due to killing a ground branch officer and ends in them working together to stop a giant conspiracy.
Now how is that show? I like Krasinski in the little I've seen him in, but I've yet to see the series he's in.
If you liked this you will probably get something out of it. If I remember right S1 was better than S2
Thanks for the rec, anons. I'll add it to the list. I'm gonna watch The Terminal List first. Had a blast with Reacher.
The show is great but the MC is a bit of a moral gay despite being a glowie (but he learns how to heavily tone it down near the end of season 1 when he finally confronts the UBL wannabe )Both shows appeals to the same audience so you’ll probably enjoy .
It's actually pretty boring. It brings absolutely nothing new to the table and that is what critics seem to mention.
That would be a valid and honest review, because it is that, and then theynuse it as a platform to virtue signal about the supreme court, gun rights, and abortion.
>I HECKIN HATE THIS MOVIE BECAUSE MY IMAGINED POLITICAL ADVERSARIES MIGHT LIKE IT. NOOOO SNEED IS NEVER ALLOWED TO FEEL JOY.
That doesn't seem bother them when they review marvel films
Binging it right now and I just finished episode 5, didn't expect that to happen so fricking soon but it was great, critics probably hate it because it has a white man that cares about his family in the main role.
Also I'm getting a lot of 6 digit/letter captchas now.
There has been some hiccups the past few days. The captcha is definitely different now with more lines through it and I'm having some trouble lining them up when I don't usually. Someone obviously thinks bots are getting through.
>nothing new
The level of tactical autism hasn't been done before.
I saw my mom watching this
Is it good?
Nice trips . It’s if /k/ made a tv series .
So a yes
and a no
The yes explained why the no didn't
I'm going with the yes
Not that girl, but it literally is if /k/ made a tv series
The writing is bad, the acting is bad, the plot is generic, the characters are flat. There are some tacticool moments but that's it.
So unless you go specifically for le ebin gun references and the operator speak, there is not much else.
no, its serviceable which is 90% better than any of the slop on the menu
>The writing is bad, the acting is bad, the plot is generic, the characters are flat.
how is that different from literally every tv show from the past 4 years?
they had MCU quips and stronk wymyn and gays so they were good
although this show has some stronk wymyn too
>although this show has some stronk wymyn too
???
muh female SEAL (literally statistically impossible)
muh army womyn leader of men (probably impossible as well tbh)
muh stronk reporter womyn
muh madame secretary
I could say the sister or whatever she was too but at least there it made sense
the show is absolutely dripping with pozz, you're just so inured to it you do not even notice it anymore, even when it's showing you things that are literally impossible
There wasn’t a female seal . If your talking about roll tide chick , she was a black hawk / little bird pilot .
>muh female SEAL
She wasn't a SEAL, wienergobbler. She was a helicopter pilot who broke her back in a crash and Reece's squad rescued her.
>muh army womyn leader of men
Fricking what?!
>muh stronk reporter womyn
She's a fricking war correspondent. These people, up until the ukraine war where they turned into cheerleaders, wore vests and went to the frontlines.
>muh madame secretary
Daft incompetent egotistical self righteous c**t who got a ton of good men killed, innocents, as well as Reece's fricking FAMILY
>I could say the sister or whatever she was too
Fricking what?!
Also the Marshall chick just mention she was in army for while and not single leadership position was mentioned . Her also ass was also save by Reece and the white Hostsge rescue guys .
>muh female SEAL (literally statistically impossible)
No female SEAL in the show, Mac was army, Liz a pilot (and fails)
>muh army womyn leader of men (probably impossible as well tbh)
>muh madame secretary
Madeleine Albright (1997-2001), Condoleezza Rice (2005-2009), and Hillary Clinton (2009-2013).
>muh stronk reporter womyn
Not sure how she is "stronk", she spends most of the show in hiding and gets rescued by Reece multiple times, she gets a kill by surprise/hiding/luck. Despite experience as a war correspondent, she's shown as panicking in action.
You're trying too hard.
So what? There are tons of bad tv show and this is one of them. The existence of other shit doesn't make this one less of a stinker.
nope.
You know how you'll watch a TV show where people point guns at each other all the time, and you'll find yourself saying "Do it. Do it. Do it. Just pull the fricking trigger, you moron. Just fricking do it." at the screen, but then the character doesn't do it, and then the guy they could've easily killed gets away and the plot drags out for another 9 episodes instead of being resolved in 3?
Well, in this show he does Do It. Every time you're thinking to yourself "in this situation, if I were him, I would..." he does that thing.
Downside to that is, it takes a lot of the dramatic tension away. Like, he takes out one of the antagonists in exactly the way you'd want him to. But then the show goes on for like another 2-3 episodes where a bunch of stuff happens that almost could've taken place off-screen with how little tension there was to it.
It was pretty muted. Would like to see something like this but edgier
Anyone else annoyed by the childish handwriting on the back of his kids drawing? how can you be in your 40s and still write like that?
Do actor actually write on stuff on-screen, or is that someone else?
That didn't occur to me but maybe I'm biased. If I don't write in all caps I am full on chicken scratch unreadable
Nah my dad was a 'nam vet and then I became a combat vet. It makesnperfect sense that us morons had a sense of duty orn oyalty to this gaynation.
I got my liver and a lung blown out, my best friend got his head blown off. He changed his will to give me his organs a week before he got his head literally blown off and I got shredded by an IED
>best friend gives you his liver
>drink yourself to death
Don't think that's what he intended
How the frick do you fricking know?
love me some curb
Jews are so fricking tactless pieces of shit, because every onebof these israelite mitherfrickers were asking for the war in iraq.
I've never seen any vet beg for 'thank you for your service' from civies.
I have, but it was coerced.
based larry is never in the wrong.
Hard to be wrong when you're written to be always in the right, you mongoloid.
Larry is never right
Nah, he is always right and his hollywood 'friends' are always wrong. He's mister magoo
except in the restaurant season finale
That's because you identify with the "crowd" of petty, pretentious moralizers for character assurance, instead of being confident and honest to yourself. Do I blame you? Not entirely, because in the show it's always played as him being the butthole for comedic purposes. "You're not wrong, you're just an butthole" is just r*ddit supercopium though, always has been.
t. pretentious moraliser
Larry is always right, but always loses amongst his moronic peers
Larry is a comedian israelite that knows how to play the game to subvert the subverters, I like that israelite a lot.
Yeah. He's untouchable in the racket that he used to be in, literally everyone hates him but he still gets to make whatever show he wants casting people that hate him so he can shitnon them. You might hate israelites, but Larry hates them more.
Proofs?
Jerry and him have poked fun at israelites for decades.
You wouldn't even know about the overbearing incestual relationships with their mothers without Larry, South Park only did it after Larry.
Eh, had a israeli friend growing up and his mother forbid him from hanging out with me because I told him that constipation meant skin would grow over your ass so you couldn't poop. 7 years later I had my wiener in his moms pussy and her guiding me into jer dirty butthole while I stared at her eagle shoulder tattoo.
>gun near working MRI
who the frick wrote it
I think it was a CT scan. I've had one done before.
Weren’t there cag guys in the book ?
I’m glad they didn’t include the black rifle coffee scene from the book.
I feel like secretary of defense or whoever killing herself was a bit of a cop out
Nah, I think it's writing smart.
Female.
Female Cabinet member.
Female noncom.
Not that he wouldn't because he was definitely gonna. But there are lines that are hard to come back from when you're supposed to be the hero. The suicide was a nice wiggle since it freed him from having to carry that shit under the eyes of people who knew he was the goodguy up until killing her. Her emotional exchange with the reporter previously, thanks to some good acting, showed us that she was trying to stay out of reach of her guilt in her own mind and the reporter was making her face it. The stress of the situation and thinking she was going to die anyway and she decided to prove how sorry she was by doing it herself.
Being extremely convenient doesn't make it a copout.
>take very charismatic actor
>give him the least charismatic role ever
what a waste
At 49:37 of Episode 4, what is in his bottom teeth?
Without looking probably dip.
isn't dip suppose to be brown?
It's dark, dark brown and turns almost black when wet. Like coffee grounds.
You can see him do dip a couple of times in the show.
Brehs, those subhuman goat frickers didn't deserve what we did to them
