one thing i wonder about is after putting on makeup every day for so many years does it make you look worse when you take it off? The dark circles under the eyes and discoloration around the mouth.
Of course, we didn't evolved to clog our pores with gunk. Constant make up use is environmental stress on the skin and accelerates cellular damage.

I don't think that women look terrible without makeup, it's that makeup makes you look that much better, unrealistically.

Lack of makeup filters out people who are naturally attractive vs artifically attractive, so men who want to be famous for their looks have to have won a greater genetic lottery whereas women can hide behind cosmetics
