There's never any attempt to execute what's supposed to be a well made concept. It comes off as amateurish and pretentious. I mean i get what he was trying to say but too many scenes are unnecessary and the film doesn't flow as well as say a coen brothers film. Why do people like shit that doesn't make sense? Yes the mother is selfish and the therapist gets off of dealing with crazy people, and the father is a massive dick, thats it. You can make a coherent film that flows from start to finish without including unnecessary shit like being hit by a car, taking a brat's bedroom while you are sick or ending up in a forest with moronic theatre hippies.
