What kind of logic is that? Episodic cartoons are plenty bingeable. I'd argue easier to binge since you can just turn off your brain and watch them one after another. There's a reason they do so well on streaming services.

Well he's the quintessential zoomer, even worse an IRISH zoomer. So he's most likely unemployed where he has this much free time to binge watch American animated adult sitcoms and edit the entire thing instead of talking about Butch Hartman for the kajillion time.

Also where's that cartoon of his? The one that's set in the early 2000s or something...

he did. Growing Around, i think? people called him a pedo b/c of it. i don't even think it was the concept itself, it was the art style giving off those vibes and Mr Enter couldn't open his third eye chakra and feel the weirdness emanating from it

I don't know I feel like that shit's a meme, like seriously though from 1:1000 to 1:50? There's "we just never had a concept of it" and there's "there's something seriously skewing this data for some reason."

It’s partially because detection is better these days, but there are also A LOT of people self-diagnosing because they feel awkward sometimes in social situations and relate to memes about autism (same with ADHD). The question is how this data is being collected, who is collecting it, and who is reporting it. Is this determined by actual clinical diagnostics or was there an internet survey where people can just self-report?

Having autism and ADHD is almost a trend among the somewhat awkward these days. It’s like people can’t just be nerds anymore. If you aren’t a total social butterfly and are somewhat passionate about a hobby “omg, I’m like…SO autistic, it’s not even funny”.

I would assume it's the former, I don't think "Are you autistic'" polls are that common to exist each year for everyone to answer and show a noticeable rise, this feels more like a actual clinical info.

            >It’s like people can’t just be nerds anymore.
Most nerds ARE autistic, they used to just be "weird", but times have changed, a lot of autistic boomers will probably die without ever having their autism diagnosed.

              >Most nerds ARE autistic
              >Most
Citation needed. I agree that many of people who were "quirky" "odd" or "eccentric" were likely on the spectrum and undiagnosed, but it's kind of ridiculous to think that everyone with somewhat odd interests who doesn't "fit in" to the mainstream crowd is neuro-divergent.

Autism rates "increased" because they started lumping in people who were socially awkward with actual shit-eating morons. The "diagnosis" only exists so pharma can start shoving pills down children's throats, thus crippling their creativity. Someone like Dan Aykroyd for example isn’t comparable to Chris Chan despite le science claiming they both have the same mental disorder

is autism actually treated with medication? I thought it would have been more like social training and therapy.
