A lot of casual readers and Reddit/Twitter types dislike people like Ellis and Ennis and Millar for being edgy and thus “problematic” and yet they can’t help but claim to enjoy the latest popular thing, whatever it is, so they just claim it’s better than the comics so they can shit on them while not shitting on the monthks trending cape program.
The filler is the worst part. They stretch out maybe an hour's worth of plot for over 8 episodes, mostly showing people watching tv or people getting blown up.
>black drug addict who killed innocent people and laughed about it >can’t be killed off like the comic, msg be redeemed because George Floyd and black lives matter
Nah, I'm pretty sure if they do like they've been doing (coming close to the comic but not exactly), they'll still kill him by reminding the audience all the shit he did. Probably tie it into the "They may have done some good things, but they're still supes" aspect Butcher remarked on last ep. Probably have Hughie flip out at Butcher for capturing and beating A-Train because he both/either has done good community work and/or can't use his powers. Hughie will use that to say that Butcher's anger is clouding his judgement. He'll say he's not doing it for Becca anymore; He's doing it for himself. Then Butcher will turn that on Hughie by bringing up the fact that Hughie is using the Temp-V to protect Annie. Butcher will then ask Hughie if he even remembers why he's doing it, why he even joined them. He'll ask him if he even remembers Robin anymore. That'll trigger Hughie to prove Robin still matters to Butcher and himself by killing him.
I never said anything needed fixing, let alone anything was broken.
With them introducing the Temp-V/Legend/etc. they're just introducing more aspects from the comic that they hadn't before because they wanted to ride the line of familiar but not exact, like a lot of other shows/movies adapted from other sources do.
They could kill him or not, I don't care which, I just listed my opinion on what they will do.
Because the comic is just typical Ennis constant edgelord wank about how crass/violent/sexual/edgy he can make the next issue while being buttmad that capeshit exist.
And don't get me wrong, I dislike most capeshit too. But "The Boy's" is just Ennis crybaby revenge journal about how capeshit is for moronic homosexuals, not like HIS capeshit, because his capeshit is ironic and nihilistic and cool.
Because it is. Comic sucks absolute ass and I'm certain more than half of its defenders in these threads are contrarians doing so because the show is now mainstream. Not saying the show is great, but the comic is awful
The comic has some great moments ("Why'd ya kill me dog?"), but it's so much edgier that a lot of it is just a chore to get through. I feel like the show is more palatable, even if it lacks the heights of the best parts of the comic.
>but it's so much edgier that a lot of it is just a chore to get through
See, they could have completely retained the story and still gotten rid of most of the edge.
Yet, they basically did the equivalent of a surgeon disemboweling their patient just to remove a little tumor.
>mothers milk doesn’t want to kill supes even though soldier boy killed his family >starlight shouts at Hughes for “working with murderers” when she killed a random guy she wanted to carjack last season
nobody important "keeps saying" that
"Better than the comic" = "I'm a normie who doesn't read comics anyway but wants to justify that to themselves".

I thought Twitter loves Ellis.
>for being edgy and thus “problematic”
boring*
The comic isn't any more boring than the schlock that's been airing from the TV show.
The comic is hot garbage. The show is slightly better than hot garbage.
It really isn’t, it’s just different. It’s pretty atrocious in all honesty.
Everything I've ever heard about both paints them as bottom of the barrel edgefests.
The filler is the worst part. They stretch out maybe an hour's worth of plot for over 8 episodes, mostly showing people watching tv or people getting blown up.
The comic is garbage but I'm kind of annoyed the show insists on keeping A-Train alive given his actions
>black drug addict who killed innocent people and laughed about it
>can’t be killed off like the comic, msg be redeemed because George Floyd and black lives matter
Pretty embarrassing

>noooo it will get fixed
When this season ends and A Train is still alive you’ll still be convinced he’s gonna die next season lmao
I never said anything needed fixing, let alone anything was broken.

You have made this thread multiple times already and now you've resorted to phone posting
Get a fricking life dude

Comic has a consistent, overarching vision and characterization. Show doesn't have that.
Simple as.
Because normies haven't read it, and Cinemaphile has a raging hateboner for anything Ennis--with the sole exception for Hitman.
I like Crossed in a guilty pleasure kinda way.
I liked Dastardly and Muttley
hey I like Preacher too
Because they haven't read the comic.
Though the comic sucks.
I want to know which of the writers has an obsession with getting fricked up the ass.
It's a California thing
This there's no way you would be able to single them out.
Most people can't read
100% because they haven't read the comics.

regardless of your opinion on the show its better than the shit barf pennis wrote and being a contrarian wont change that fact
>If I just push my fingers in my ears and yell, "YOU'RE JUST CONTRARIANS," their logic will go away, right?
Mighty fine pathetic of you, sir.
What happened to Homelander's son? I lost track
Nice try Homelander
>mothers milk doesn’t want to kill supes even though soldier boy killed his family
>starlight shouts at Hughes for “working with murderers” when she killed a random guy she wanted to carjack last season
This show sucks.
they hate him, because he tells the truth. Besides hitting some innocents when he was called out,he did nothing wrong.
