Because of the shit they did over decades to GET to 150 or so billion. And because many of their competitors will be even fricking dumber than they are.
The dumber companies don't even get a chance to make a quarter billion dollar mistake. But OP. If you're so smart, smarter than disney and sure they're going to lose, short the stock.
Disney is a nostalgia milking factory and literally always has been. Problem is, they've run out of nostalgic shit to milk since literally nothing made in the past 20 years is worth milking. No nostalgia = no Disney. Game Over.
And Disney's nostalgia is relying on public domain fairy tales like Aladdin or Beauty and the Beast. Take away the public domain of already famous stories and Disney's list of successes would decrease. Stuff like Dalmatians and Bambi may not be fairy tales and may be successful for Disney back in the day, but they have no powerful nostalgia power going for them which is why Dalmatian Street failed and why the incoming live action remake of Bambi movie will not succeed.
Disney had a good run of one hundred years but make no mistake once you run out of iconic public domain material and lifting from the public domain is your claim to fame you are inevitably going to fail compared to those who attempt to make original properties. And another thing hurting Disney is how people view them nowadays, with Disney ruining Star Wars people actively hate Disney much more these days. But yeah running out of public domain material is karma for a company as creatively bankrupt such as Disney.
You'll get live action remakes of that and Tangled. And they'll both make a lot of money. They'll make sequels to them and they'll make less money. And that'll be that.
My hope is that they do make live action remakes and that they are as immediately shit as Brown Snow White and that it sinks the very novelty of a live action remake. I want Disney to screw up so badly that even their gems like Frozen start to fail.
I still don't get why anyone thought that thing was a good idea.
A hotel that you can't leave on your own, with no windows, and the staff constantly being in character, is one of the dumbest concepts I've ever seen.
It's basically the same as a cruise, except you're stuck below deck, and the crew is completely insane.
do you have 250 million to burn, anon
Disney sure as hell doesn’t with how things are going for them nowadays. Guess they weren’t too big to fail after all.
>Disney net worth as of August 09, 2023 is $159.87B
>And that will never ever change
That's what they can theoretically get if they sell everything, including their IPs. They don't even have a fraction of that in the bank.
What good is money sitting in a bank?
If they had even close to that much in the bank they wouldn't be panicking like they are about having to complete the Hulu buyout

And your net worth is in the millions if we factor in the cost of your internal organs in the black market.
He's living off welfare because he's moronic. I don't think so
Isn't the Starcuriser supposed to be a fixture in their upcoming media stuff?
Heck I'd use it as a set at this rate.

Seemingly Frozen is the only thing worth milking and that movie is awful. But yeah the other stuff they have made is quite terrible.
