Why do they keep making the same superhero movies over and over again?
DC = Free money (according to the moronic suits at WB)
Millions of morons pay for them
I want Man Bat or Killer Moth
Nope. We're getting grounded and realistic Batman.
Reeves doesn't have any originality whatsoever. The people praising The Batman have never seen a David Fincher movie before.
For all the criticism Snyder received, at least he had the balls to give us a Batman who could frick up Superman. Pattinson and Bale would be bent like a pretzel.
A grounded and realistic Killer Moth would work. I'm not a comicgay but isn't he a hitman of sorts?
KM and Firefly are roughly the same and they just used Firefly in that failed batgirl movie so I doubt anyone even remotely like him makes an appearance anytime soon
>shills for Sneeder
eat shit and die
Or, they realize that when an homage is done right it can be very kino.
>Man Bat
Sucks he never got more play. In a weird way, he's kind of like the Nega-Duck version of Batman.
Arkham Games did him justice. You traverse Gotham thru the skies and BOOM! man-bat outta nowhere. And ya gotta Chase him down. The best part is when he's human again but Batman locks him up anyway and whenever you talk to him, he's horrified that people died.
>"What did I do?"
>In a weird way, he's kind of like the Nega-Duck version of Batman.
He's not
I want Pyg
Batman actually has a pretty shit rogues gallery, there are only a handful of villains that aren't very stupid
What're your picks?
I'd like to see Bane actually done correctly, but I don't know if it's possible with how badly the Nolan movie poisoned the well.
bane is a shit villain. Mr freeze and Joker are like his only legit good villains with compelling stories.
Bane sucks. But Batman has other compelling villains. Clayface is tragic. Man-Bat. Inque. Best villain gallery outside of Spiderman.
>how badly the Nolan movie poisoned the well.
you don't belong here
agreed. batman has a few stories worth telling to a wider audience, but past those instances, it is a weaker property compared to its contemporaries
>murderous psycho that makes le jokes (joker)
>murderous psycho that makes le puzzles (cabletruman)
>murderous psycho that makes le abominations (pyg)
>murderous psycho that wears le hat (mad hatter)
>murderous psycho that eats le people (killer croc)
>murderous psycho that's le scary (scarecrow)
Honestly
Nothing's worse than Spider-Man's
So many fantastic Batman villains to choose from
I want to see Mr. Freeze but he's probably too fantastical for the Reevesverse. They'd just make him some killer who stuffs his victims in a meat locker or something.
SAME OLD SHIT
Utter lol at that pic. Its like a joke on the onion.
If clayface does not make it into this cycle of bat films I will become a domestic terrorist until my demands are met.
Court of owls could be really cool if done well
CoW is mega moronic
>it's a Batman story doing something a little different
>Joker shows up towards the end and becomes the main antagonist
Does this happen as much as it feels like it does?
They only add Joker to media they want to really sell well, so not always.
It happens whenever sales dip on a run yeah
pls understand joker sells as many copies as bats does now
I remember they did this run with like 3-4 jokers fighting batman.
They should just make a regular movie called batman that has no relation to the comic book characters. Click bait for movies.
We need a Batman movie where condiment king is the main bad guy.
>Bats beats the shit out of a mentally ill man playing at being a big deal like the Riddler was
>he literally just sprays everything with ketchup and tries to rob banks but the tone of everything else is still as gothic and bleak
>CK gets his ass kicked almost immediately
>Batman spends the rest of the film in self introspection, wondering if he's doing the right thing at all when these people need psychiatric help
they could have easily pulled off the court of owls in this films universe. and it would have tied together well with the previous film
>the court of owls
That shits gay though
just get damian in live action already
imagine the edge
Clayface is going to be the villain
it would be cool and refreshing to see a villain that's explicitly supernatural, but we're still with this grimdark gritty realism from the nolan movies for some reason
He did use some mystery goo in The Batman so I don't think real superpowers are out of the question. And if Gunn's Superman does well and everyone is on board there might be a Superman in this Batman's world too
>He did use some mystery goo in The Batman
Huh?
Towards the end Battinson gets shot point blank with a shot gun and shoots goo into himself to recuperate. People speculated it's the same goo Bane uses
He shot up with epinephrine
I agree, and think Baby Doll could actually be a good movie villain, but who would you even cast as her?
You know in your heart that nothing the Hollywood studios could do would ever clear the bar that the animated show set with its best episodes.
Of course, but anything beats seeing yet another Harvey Dent.
/tv/'s most hated villain
He's the hero
Hush was probably the most recent good Batman story. It has a good tweest and had a lot of fan favorite characters in it
And they fricked up the animated movie.
homie they used Hush in the first movie. That Riddler is obviously an amalgam of riddler and hush in order to keep the story simple
>The Batman was just a barebones adaption of Long Halloween all along
Frick. That took me too long to realize
I think that was adrenaline or something. Could be a precursor to Bane's venom schtick but that feels like a stretch
It's venom.
Who gives a frick, that's a kino casting right there
They can't come up with a way to take cartoony sci fi fantasy villains like Man Bat, Clayface, Mr Freeze seriously.
That's why they always choose the safe more grounded villains, and Reeve's Batman universe is realistic and super serious.
It had a surprising amount of comedy for a 'super serious' film.
The issue is they think Batman has to feel real as possible so they won’t bring in any of the silly villains, only the ones that seem plausible in real life
Only ones not over used or were already used who are realistic (hush/riddler out)
Two face
Court of owls before zombie attack
Original clayface
Clock king
why keep making batman movies?
worst cast of characters in capeshit
I'd prefer Professor Pyg or someone else like that, but I always have a soft spot for Harvey.
They're the only ones that translate to grimdark reasonably well
