I pay with my time and AI can be good when used well. Unfortunately there are already a lot of bad taste images on the internet and, inevitably, we are going to be artistically attacked by the bad taste of people who only think of quick and easy profit, eager to make fast, cheap and horrible movies

The people who pay have a problem with AI. Their paying had no influence on the matter. If it's a franchise they like, they'll just tolerate it.
If I don't love you pitch /trailer of a film, I don't bother to torrent it. I don't waste any feeling over modern adaptions being trash, that's just my default assumption until my normalgay friend sells me on exceptions.
I rewatched Batman 1989 with my wife and daughter two nights ago, that was nice. Torrented.
The key word is file sharing. The process is not unlike watching a DVD borrowed from a friend. Somebody somewhere along the way payed for it, but it didn't have to be me.
If they made something worth collecting I'd pay for it. Trash movies/TV get torrented. Art gets DVD/blu ray.
This. If it's good enough, I'll buy the phsyical format, disposable income's not a problem, quality product is. AI's not the problem, if anything it'll open the field to more creative people and maybe even go a way to countering the by-the-numbers, production line bullshit of Hollywood.

I don't really care about AI. I think it's great because anyone can eventually make their own movies with a bunch of keywords.

I saw they used the poorest AI pics on TD S4, but that show was shit for different reasons.
But I barely pirate, i'm subbed to crunchy, hidive, amazon and netflix (might have unsubbed from netflix by now if my family didn't watch it) and only pirate a rare few things outside that, hell I will just straight up digitally buy things sometimes, i'm also thinking of picking up disney for just a month to catch up on all their anime, easier than pirating it since it doesn't show up on subsplease
