Those are individual franchises and paying at a truck stop is going to be comparable to airport prices. Most people just pay it begrudgingly and don’t whine to the press about it like an attentioned starved homosexual.
What sucks about this is that a sausage and egg mcmuffin with added bacon is nice, but you have to pay so much for it and that added bacon is $1.50 to boot. Why are prices so high now? People go to mcdons because it's cheap, not because it's good.
May as well go to other restaurants and get "real food" for the same price.
I havent been to the movies in a while but jesus.. $21+ for 2 hot dogs and a drink?? Id make a pack of them at home at stuff them in my pockets for a quarter of the price
>Why do you guys complain about movie theater prices, this is about the same price as Mcdonalds.
Those are Joe Biden pedophile rape prices. I can buy a 6 pack of hotdogs, 6pack of buns, 6pack of sodas for $12 tops at the grocery store. For fricks sakes most gas-station convenient stores in the US sell hotdogs for $1 if you fill your tank...
Why are you israelites so insanely fricking greedy?
despite your digits, I don't believe either of you. A QPC is like $5 where I live. The app always has a 50% off coupon. So you can get a QPC and medium fries for like $4.
Popcorn at my local theater is $10 for a large and .50c more for extra butter. If I ever go to the theater I don't eat anything all day and gorge myself on popcorn. I feel terrible afterwards but I do it every time. I also get a .50c refill to take home and eat it the next day because I fricking love movie theater popcorn.
I just got a dozen large eggs for $1.99 at walmart 6 years ago they were like $1.50. Pringles/stax have always been like $2 for as long as I remember.
Some prices have remained the same and others have risen dramatically. If you use the mcdonalds app you can get a QPC for like $2.50 still.
>app
use the apps and you can make it worth it, otherwise no point in buying that slop
>app
if you eat both a mcdouble and a mcchicken and aren't full you are a fat frick. That's 2 for $4, but for $5 you can just use the app and get a buy one get one free QPC. That's 2 QPC for just $1 more.
if your fat ass needs more than half a pound of meat you should just off yourself now.
Because by using the app you are giving them your data, which they can then sell. More users = more data = more money.
Personally I detest this app shit, I am completely fricking fed up with it and absolutely refuse to be coerced into installing an app. And it is only going to get worse and more braindead morons with smartphones enable this shit to continue.
the future is truly bleak if you just want to be left alone and unmolested. like my phone refusing to use on-board storage and telling me it's "out of memory" and unsubtly urging me to get a new phone by shitting my phone up with updates i did not authorize. thank you so much google for downloading yet another version of chrome with more spyware on my phone. thank you for the IMDb app I cannot uninstall despite having no space left on my motorola. >$1 $2 $3 menu >nothing is even close to $1
McDonald’s is never going away because Americans are addicted to it, but I want to believe eventually there will be a collapse. People make fun of Five Guys for being expensive but it’s like $5 more than a combo at McDonald’s for a better burger with more options
>People make fun of Five Guys for being expensive but it’s like $5 more than a combo
this is why wish in-n-out was more common in the usa, best value burger in the country
I haven't eaten fast food in probably 7 years. And that includes a Taco Bell visit. Otherwise I probably haven't eaten fast food in more than 15 years.
Still, for less than the cost of a Big Mac, fries and a Coke, you can buy a loaf of fresh bread and some good cheese or roast beef, which you will enjoy much more.

That isn't true. Roast beef alone will cost more than a big mac meal, and the bread/cheese another $4-$8 on top of that. It will last more meals than one big mac meal will, though.
>It will last more meals than one big mac meal will, though.
That's the point, silly. You pay a bit more, but you're gonna get 3 or 4 sandwiches from it as opposed to the one hamburger.
Amerimutts don't understand this, they only eat processed slop or fast food. Buying meat by weight at a local deli? HUH, fresh bread that isn't wonder slop HUH
The problem with the statement is the cheese part. "Good Cheese" actually costs a lot. I wish it didn't, but the more expensive cheeses genuinely taste better.
They complain that nobody is going to the theater anymore then have the audacity to charge 23 bucks for a coke and a bowl of popcorn. Why would you even go when you can eat whatever the frick you want at home while watching the same movie on your couch
>Marx also warned us that families are evil
Hilarious that some deadbeat that couldn't take care of his kids created a whole philosophy that murdered hundreds of millions.
Inflation is a result of centralized, state ownership of the creation of money. Marx favored that. His ideology is more responsible for making Big Macs costs too much than anyone else.
But marx supported central banking?
Capitalism naturally has deflation(lower prices).
Isnt this what marx wanted?
The problem with housing is the rich using them as investments. You shouldn't be able to own multiple properties, and if you do, you shouldn't be able to rent them out to tenants, effectively having them pay your mortgage.
>you shouldn't be able to rent them out to tenant
Put a bullet in your brain
Guy with cargo pants here. I order a meal at the Mcdonalds in the food court before heading to the cinema. I wrap the burger in napkins and stuff it into one leg pocket, then put the fries into the other pocket.
>movie nachos
Totally worth paying $30 to watch a shitty israelite movie and having to listen to crunching sounds. They don't even use impressive display tech at most cinemas
You see even though things have gone up more then tripple, there was a 5% drop last month so Binenomics is working :^). The working class has never had it so good.

Is that grocery store cost or real cost? Grocery store cost for eggs, milk, cheese, produce, etc. is pretty useless. They lose money on those to get you in the store so you drop $8 on Captain Sugarbomb's Corn Puffs or $22 on trash bags or whatever.

In the vast majority of the US they ranged from $1 to $2. I can get a dozen eggs at walmart for $1.88 right now. Using this image, egg prices haven't changed at all.
22% inflation means you pay the workers 22% more. Those costs come down to the consumer, but if you also have a job it should be evened out by you getting paid 22% more as well.
inflation metrics have a ton of biases. what is 'inflation"?
there are different indices.
for instance, has the cost of cars, and the cost of bread both gone up exactly the same in percentages?
food and housing are two sectors which have gone up significantly.
you can say the past five years there has been 22% 'inflation', which considers different sectors, and is depending on the index, but even so, the price of many different things, including some food prices, may be significantly higher.
My local regal has never checked my backpack, I've brough in entire meals and even a pizza one time.
I think the reason is because I'm in a major city, and bike there. Since I come in wearing my bike helmet, they often figure my backpack is biking equipment/a change of clothes. I will however sometimes buy a popcorn to support the theater, I get it for $6 with Regal unlimited so it isn't bad.
Lol, they don't care. The guys there make minimum wage and have better things to do than make a customer never come back by pissing him off with a request to search his bag.
Like seriously, imagine you're working retail and you see a guy stuff a mars bar into his pocket. Are you going to confront him while not knowing what else he's willing to do, for minimum wage pay?
This is dishonest though, you redeemed McDicks points for the free medium fry and the mcdouble and McChicken were part of the 2 for 4. McDoubles and McChickens don't fill you up much either.
There is a free deal for any size fry but it attaches a large "[local sports team] wins!" infobox on the checkout screen. >the mcdouble and McChicken were part of the 2 for 4.
How is that misleading when that's the standard price? Is it misleading to post the price of a combo meal because the individual components cost more? >McDoubles and McChickens don't fill you up much either.
Fat.
>fat
Fat is getting french frys, since frys are basically a vessel to eat low quality seed oil. I almost never eat McDonalds unless I'm in a pinch, and when I do I don't get mayonaise on my McChickens (speaking of fat). But even I can recognize that a double quarter pounder without cheese is the healthiest thing at McDonalds in terms of hitting your macros and not eating a ton of fat (cheese is very fattening). I'd need at least 4 McDoubles with no cheese to reach the same as one Double QP without cheese.
>But but but if you really eat this shit every day and scope for hourly deals you can get some cheap meals
Come off it, bro. McDons is for when you're driving home from work and need a quick dinner, or breakfast, or lunch, whatever. You don't "plan" your trip to Mcdons.
>hourly deals
The 2 for $4 deal is 24 hours a day, 366 days a year. It's not even an app exclusive. You can just order it at the drive thru. Again, it is exactly as misleading as posting a combo meal price.
>McDoubles and McChickens don't fill you up much either.
Right, exactly. The main reason fast-food cooks so fast and "lasts" so short is that there isn't much density to it.
if you eat both a mcdouble and a mcchicken and aren't full you are a fat frick. That's 2 for $4, but for $5 you can just use the app and get a buy one get one free QPC. That's 2 QPC for just $1 more.

dinner AND a movie. not dinner WITH your movie. Are people so fricking busy they cant spare another hour after a movie to grab a bite? you cant go 2 hours without a full meal why you sit so tirelessly in that bed they call a movie chair. Theatres should sell popcorn, and have form fitting chairs that recline like a seat on an airplane. If you wanna recline all the way down, stay home and sleep homosexual, if you want a full fricking meal on a plate clanking dishes around, go to a fricking restaurant.
>Are people so fricking busy they cant spare another hour after a movie to grab a bite?
Some people are. Most people are buying popcorn and soda at the movies. The ones buying burgers or chicken tenders are the exception, but since it's all frozen and microwaved food movie theater chains don't really lose anything by keeping them in the freeze and offering them as a guest. It also makes concessions appear to have more options and variety, which generally makes checking out concessions more appealing.
The problem with housing is the rich using them as investments. You shouldn't be able to own multiple properties, and if you do, you shouldn't be able to rent them out to tenants, effectively having them pay your mortgage.
and only 50% of millennials own a home. > homeownership rate then began to sink, down to 63.1 percent in 2020 — its lowest level in five decades. It has budged only slightly since then.

Look at its parameters "Owner Occupied Housing Units."
It's NOT naming "owners," it's naming "units." Those "units" are, in many cases, the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th home of a very wealthy person. And in the the fewer cases, they are the "occupied," see: LEASED units.
The number of persons "owning" a home has NOT "gone up."

Yeah, Redfin, Zillow, Trulia, Movoto, and Opendoor, etc. have been buying up loads of properties at enormous over market prices to rent out and ballooning housing area values. Sure glad everyone owns hones now you enormous homosexual!
According to studies, the average american is to blame for this, not the rich or the government. We got used to decadance and luxury. In the 70s, our ancestors just lived in some wooden frames with drywall. Now we all demand insulation and pools and gardens. It's getting out of hand.
Why don't you just give me your money? I'm serious. The government should implement a wealth cap that takes money from anyone with more than 2 million in assets and redistributes it to people with less than 2 million. It would solve poverty over night. There's enough money for everyone to be rich that way.
They's rather b***h about Biden or Trunp or whoever instead of spending 5 minutes to get their slice of the largest wealth building technology in all of human history.
Is anybody else just fricking astonished that we're getting people unironically claiming food prices haven't increased and home ownership is thriving and ackshually workers are getting paid more than ever
>Everybody says that the material situation of workers has dramatically improved, that life has become better and more fun. It is of course true. But this has led the population to breed much faster than in the old days. The birth rate is higher, the death rate is lower and the pure population growth is far stronger. It is of course good and we welcome it. [Jolly murmurs in the auditorium.] Now every year we have a population growth of three million souls. It means that every year we grow as much as the whole of Finland. [Everybody laughs.]
- Josef Stalin during a year that eight million Soviets starved to death, so he had to have all the censustakers rounded up and executed for being counterrevolutionary saboteurs

That's 2 QPC for just $1 more.
if your fat ass needs more than half a pound of meat you should just off yourself now.
That's a fairly small amount of McDonald's for the average man I'd say?
I laughed anyway anon, the other guy's a newbie
Well of course it looks cheaper when you redeem the thing that costs fricking $5 lmao
But Biden just said that the economy is doing great right now and the reason is all of the wonderful immigrants being waved into the country
dinner AND a movie. not dinner WITH your movie.
Die homosexual. Popcorn works at a theatre because youre not hearing the chomping slop sounds of everyone around you.
>everyone pitching about fast food prices
>no one pointing out how depenetant the average moron is for fast food
Housing prices have increased 200% this decade btw
The problem with housing is the rich using them as investments. You shouldn't be able to own multiple properties, and if you do, you shouldn't be able to rent them out to tenants, effectively having them pay your mortgage.
no that's not a problem at all. It's 95% driven by corporations doing what you say + immigration.
Frick yeah! Why would you ever want the primary wealth-builder for the middle class to not be increasing that much?
The number of people who actually own a house goes down every year
Not true. 25% of zoomers already own a house lmao. You're not poorer than a zoomer are you anon?
and only 50% of millennials own a home.
> homeownership rate then began to sink, down to 63.1 percent in 2020 — its lowest level in five decades. It has budged only slightly since then.
According to the US census.
>nooooo, you have to follow the narrative that people can't afford houses!!!
It's a laughably asinine claim, you might as well say Americans are all seven feet tall now
Look at its parameters "Owner Occupied Housing Units."
There's a very, very, very, very, very, very strong reason English has different words that have different meanings and government, law, and regulatory statistical charts THRIVE on your inability to recognize lies.
stop noticing things
Yeah, Redfin, Zillow, Trulia, Movoto, and Opendoor, etc. have been buying up loads of properties at enormous over market prices to rent out and ballooning housing area values. Sure glad everyone owns hones now you enormous homosexual!
I can't even begin to explain how moronic you are.
instead I will just say two key phrases: China, Dotcom Bubble.
According to studies, the average american is to blame for this, not the rich or the government. We got used to decadance and luxury. In the 70s, our ancestors just lived in some wooden frames with drywall. Now we all demand insulation and pools and gardens. It's getting out of hand.
>According to studies
Share them or frick off, moron whp makes things up.
I simply charged all of my clients more.
I can get a double cheeseburger, 4 nuggets, small fries, and a large coke for $5 at my mcdonalds.
Are “MOVIENACHOS” different than regular nachos?
>invest in NVDIA
>each stock goes up like $200 a month
How are people still poor?
Nvidia is a pretty scummy company.
Stay poor then homosexual
Why don't you just give me your money? I'm serious. The government should implement a wealth cap that takes money from anyone with more than 2 million in assets and redistributes it to people with less than 2 million. It would solve poverty over night. There's enough money for everyone to be rich that way.
unironically a mixed socialism/capitalism market is the best market.
Eventually with AI and automation taking over we will be forced into a socialist society. Sure it might take 150 years but that's the future.
At least criminals will go out and rob people themselves instead of whining for the government to do it like you
They's rather b***h about Biden or Trunp or whoever instead of spending 5 minutes to get their slice of the largest wealth building technology in all of human history.
>surely line will go up forever this time
Yes? The Magnificent Seven are very safe bets. Invest now and get in on the AI boom. It'll literally make you millions
Post portfolio
>$965 a share
how will poor people afford this?
Stop buying video games and Uber Eats for two months. Or take it out on credit, make money, then pay the loan back while keeping the interest
What about my car note and rent?
Good day fellow Cinemaphile poster
I'll have a #2 with the bangs rootbeer please
Is anybody else just fricking astonished that we're getting people unironically claiming food prices haven't increased and home ownership is thriving and ackshually workers are getting paid more than ever
Not really since the President is saying that as well
>Everybody says that the material situation of workers has dramatically improved, that life has become better and more fun.
On here it's mostly just trolls looking for (you)s. What should scare you though is that irl some morons actually believe. I had a leftist coworker who was completely serious when he told me that the Biden economy is one of the best this country has had, it is insane how some people are willing to ignore the evidence in front of them.
>it is insane how some people are willing to ignore the evidence in front of them
By the time they graduate college, they've had lots and lots of practice.
I complain about burger prices too but frick, theaters are a ripoff.
2 pig lip and butthole sausages with a drink at theaters or 2 Big Macs, 2 med(?) Fries, 20 piece chicken nuggets, and a drink at Mickey D's for basically the same price. Hmmmm, that's a tough one.
I'm not going to eat or drink at a theater. It would be distracting both for myself and others.
And yes, expensive as frick.
>2 hot dogs and drink
>21 dollars
ahahah holy shit
OMG is this real? As an autist shut in with a private tracker I don't go to the kinoplex, not since 2015 at least. WTF is going on??
>destroys your entire racket
>a single movie theater snack in america
>2000+ calories
