it's good background noise. if im actually watching him all you do is skip the unfunny skits in the videos and its good

only some videos are skit heavy. most of the time its just at the beginning of the video and sometimes interjected but the review is usually the main focus
The last time I watched it, a decade ago, he was putting out vid after vid that were at least 80% skit and I just said "frick this moronic bald homosexual" and never watched another.

It’s comfy. Over the years we’ve seen Doug change and grow as a person, just as I have. I started watching him back in the day when he was “feuding” with James the Nintendo nerd. I don’t always keep up with the latest videos from him, but he did cover a movie I like recently called Trick R Treat and it was fun seeing him talk about it. I watch him and the cinema snob, as well as their old episodes, and I always enjoy it.
It’s wild to me that the “new” Doug with Malcom and Tamara is that old at this point.
I don't but I respect his review of The Wall cause it made liberals seethe.

Not trying to say he isn't cringe, just giving him some credit for seizing his opportunity when he saw it, and soldiering on despite having zero talent, coasting by purely on relentless work ethic. It's admirable.

I haven't watched his videos in 10 years
It's remarkable how little he has changed his style in almost two decades. At first it made him look bad compared to all the other newer and younger content creators, but now almost every single one of them is gone and he still remains doing his stupid little reviews, it's very comforting in a way.
I haven't actually watched his videos in a while but it's nice to know he's still out there.
