No one hates Felix, if anything it’s not knowing him because he’s been in one comic the last 2 decades
That and those that do typically are the ones shipping him with Oswald in weird AU shit

Good for you, I say this because there was a thread where zoomers were shitting on Felix.

Felix is the textbook example of silent-era animation, but by the time that the sound-era had arrived, the likes of Disney and Fleischer had left that stuff miles behind and pushed the levels of quality much further than before.

Because Felix cartoons don't explain every joke. They need to be spoonfed so they'll feel better about themselves instead of roughing it out like everybody else. And then Zoomers wonder why no Gen A kids watch Bluey and instead choose to watch Skibidi Toilet and old cartoons from the 2000s.

Last I checked kids are not the ones watching Skibidi Toilet, Paw Patrol yes but not Skibidi Toilet.

Dawg. 90 percent of the comments on the Skibidi Toilet videos are Gen A. But keep being delusional that nobody watches your shitty pre school shows. Gen A is gonna be insane in a few years.

          I don't watch Paw Patrol.

Without Felix, Sonic wouldn't have been possible.

          Or Oswald.
          Or Mickey.
          Or Bosko.

    Proof?

He’s more than a hundred years old. With no shows to really promote the guy, how else do Zoomers know the guy?

I love how basically all western animation (and even anime) descended from this guy but everyone only brings up the blue homosexual

Without Fleischer's Superman cartoon Anime would not be as popular as it is now.

Without Disney (namely Ub Iwerks and Bambi) Anime would not be as popular as it is now.

Also the Fleischer brothers (really Grim Natwick).

Both are responsible. And its funny seeing these Weebs act like their Japanese shit is better. Like homie we built the foundation for that shit. We may not know how to do it anymore, but we are the reason why Anime is big.
Look at Sazae San for example. The earlier seasons looked more like a western cartoon, in fact most of the Anime from the 60s to the early 80s were very cartoony. Its wasn't until either the mid to late 80s where they pushed for more realism.

Even Lupiin III looked like an Asian version of Don Martin and Sergio Aragones' works.

Yeah wasn't Inspector Gadget supposed to be some americanized Lupin cartoon originally?

                Anonymous

No. Inspector Gadget is French/Canadian and inspired by Inspector Clouseau from the 60's. If people are saying something about Lupin, it's probably a joke.

I might be getting it confused with that weird prototype Lupin cartoon. Let me check, I'll have to hunt down where I saw that. OKAY so it turns out Dic did do a canceled Americanized co production with TMS, Well that cleared that up. It was called Lupin VIII.

Grim left Fleischer at some point in the 30's and joined Disney. I know he was part of Snow White.
