What's it about?
it's about an hair stylist
Looks like weebshit, not my cup of tea
well it's literally a Chinese cartoon, but I think it manages to be more funny than most modern cartoons or even anime.
>Looks like weebshit
just like half of modern cartoons
I don't even know what that is
Too much story after the first season. The comedy and the characters are what made it great and stand out, not some epic dramatic plot and epic fights, which you can find in abundance elsewhere.
Has the movie come out yet?
Not that I know of.
S4 came out earlier this year, but the production wassn't finished when S4 ended.
I thought it was just a publicity stunt
I thought it was a lot of fun. Looking forward to the movie and season 5
I wish it wasn't taking 2-3 years between each season.
After ten minutes I can't take it anymore, sorry
I guess some of the characters are nice but I dunno, just can't get into it? The whole "oooh, secret forgotten backstory" is just annoying.
Just finished season 1 today. Had a lot of fun with it
I watched a bit of this around the same time that Inside Job Season 2 had dropped. I remember that I found it pretty funny, but I honestly grew disinterested when they started introducing the entire "MC is actually one of the most powerful beings ever" clichés that shows like this always do. Think I just dropped it after he finally beat that Scientist villain character.
I know what you mean, it's hard to recommend to a lot of my friends. It's either too cartoony and silly for my more anime inclined friends, or too weeb looking for my more cartoon inclined friends. Feels like I can't win.
they dont know enough about wuxia tropes to appreciate the subversion of them
