They can’t just acknowledge that AI can generate images faster than a human, and it’s more cost effective

Just whining over DEY TOOK R JORBS bullshit. Sorry but digital art as a career is on it’s way out or will be greatly minimized

      >AI can generate images faster than a human
Wrong, moron. AI relies on images generated by humans. AI doesn't actually create but amalgamates previous images. Its the reason why most AI images are ugly.

        >UUH AKTUALLY
Shut up you fricking moron. The vast majority of art for comercial productions is not unique. And you're wrong. One of the FIRST things AI was able to do was take existing images and change them into a different style. Stylistic transformation is more than taking what already exists, it shows the ability to map ideas from one paradigm to another.
        >O-okay but THAT's all AI can do
You are going to look even more moronic when entirely new algorithms come out.
Pandora's box is open, people know AI has viable uses. It's being researched like nothing else.

What they’re really whining about is that nobody cares about the difference between something that’s 90% there and the extra 10% that costs 1000x as much.

Studios making some ad copy and promo images don’t give two shits if it’s got 6 fingers and repeats itself. And here’s the real painful thing - neither do audiences.

The sloppa generators will only get better. More and more artists are fighting over scraps. Prices plunge through the cellar. Big name artists now do shittier gigs so the entry level is unattainable for anyone not currently connected.

Over time the industry shrivels up.
      >How do you know
Because it’s happened. Many times. Take animation - entire stables full of hand drawing masters going a mile a minute. Studios cut back. Only the big names can get funding. 3d and 2.5d take over, over a few decades.
If you had infinite money you couldn’t get what existed in the hand drawing heyday. There’s not enough artists left. They died off, the handful still in business take the few jobs that exist.
      >Just one example
Again, there are tons. Study the death of the printing arts. Both books and the artistry behind copper plate, woodcut, lithography. From being a vital big part of the print biz, printers and computer art replaced them.
Japanese woodcutters went through this in the early 1900s. Grandmasters of the art were not making prints anymore, they were reduced to cheap advertising gigs. Magazine work. Matchstick designs.
And there’s no work for apprentices so the artform dies off with the old masters.

      Get used to sloppa.

just because going against AI is now like a massive virtue signal (like when games say WE USE NO AI ART PLEASE PAY US), doesn't make your inability to see why people are so upset a good take.
you have no appreciation for aesthetics or respect for anyone who isn't breaking their back paving roads or some bullshit, probably.
get ready for the incoming, inevitable and incomprehensible onslaught of slop. you are gonna eat. it. up.

while I think AI images are an incredible tool that can lead to amazing results, it's gonna do what cameras in your phones did to photography. It's gonna lower the bar to a satisfactory standard that anyone can do and truly masterful work will go under appreciated.

    >real artists
lmfao, they're just butthurt coz AI has finally called their bluff. It did the job real people were unwilling to do, because it's obvious to all that modern day "artists" are nothing but charlatan scammers. Just go outside and look at the "architecture". Turn on the radio and listen to the "music". Pick up a children's book and be horrified at the "illustrations". This pure aesthetic sadism and unforgivable mutilation of the divinely ordained creative order of the human soul.

You see, an actual artist can easily outdo AI, because even with the little imperfections and little mistakes an honest artist makes, he still inspires something living and powerful into his art that no AI can even begin to approach. But the catch is, you need to actually have talent to produce such art. Something none of these aforementioned butthurt scammers have ever once even attempted to cultivate in their miserable existences. AI is actually an improvement on their criminal laziness. These people deserve to be phased out.

Being an actual artist is a form of priesthood. God has given you talents and entrusted you as a conduit of his will to translate his Logos into physical manifestations of beauty, truth, and order. You are the keeper of this Garden of Eden. These "artists" are in dereliction of duty. They are fakes, and deserve to be exposed and deposed from this office.

        >"Real artists" think a toilet is art.
don't gets hard filtered by art. The entire point of some of the more ridiculous art movements has been that art, even what can seem like total trash, will make for an emotional response.
that the entire of some of the past art movements. Even the total experimental sort of ones like ok here is my empty gallery. Oh you showed up expecting to see art but my art is no art. How does that make you feel? Oh you felt something? See it's was art after all.
I get how strange that sounds.
