For the first season he was good, he had a bit of an English accent and felt quite like the character in the books. Then season 3 onward he just became a full-on moustache twirling villian
He never felt like the character in the book. TV Baelish always acted and sounded like a plotting villain
Book Baelish never seems like he’s actively working for his own interests and is going out of his way to be helpful while outwardly acting indifferent
why would she need evidence? literally nobody in the north likes littlefinger, arya could have just sliced his throat open from the start and nobody would have cared
because le starks are le heckin good guys and they need a token trial before murdering him
kinda like meryn trant had to be retconned into a pedophile a few minutes before his death otherwise arya would have just murdered some obedient soldier who simply followed orders
I dunno, Meryn is a portrayed as a dick throughout every season before he dies, although the same could be said for most of the soldier or knight characters in GOT to be fair.
Most of the men there were Vale bannermen who only went to Winterfell because Littlefinger was governing the Vale in stead of the Arryn boy after Lysa Arryn died. It makes no sense they'd allow his death.
If they felt that way, they wouldn't march hundreds of miles through a frozen wasteland on his command to begin with. And even if you don't like him, it reflects poorly on you to let the guy leading you get killed in a sham trial. If someone can kill your leader with impunity, what else can they do to you?
This, you have to consider that these people are supposed to be feudal knights. Letting your commander, and for the time being the representative of your lord to whom you've sworn fealty, who also happens to be under your explicit protection get murdered in front of you would be a massive affront, even if they hated the bastard's guts. The fact they all just sort of shrugged and left was borderline ridiculous. There should have been blood and lots of it
>literally nobody in the north likes littlefinger
And that's fricking moronic. The entire North didn't watch the show on TV and know everything about him.
Why would some random soldier or peasant question what the reigning Starks do? Is random guard #69 going to risk execution to stand up for some Weasley looking c**t he doesn't know?
Anyone who's opinion matters knows him well enough not to like him
i may be remembering incorrectly but in the books isnt there like this giant foreshadowed theme that its the gravest crime to harm a person you openly welcomed into your home?
like its implied heavily that the freys are gunna get absolutely fricked by fate for what they did.
a bit hypocritical for the starks to just commit and get away with the same crime
It's even worse because they were saved from certain defeat against Ramsay Bolton by Littlefinger, so they're killing someone to who they owe their lives as well as their guest.
Why would Arya and Jon think she’s smart? They both most likely, definitely in Arya’s case, thought she was an air headed moron
Getting fricked in the ass in show canon isn’t going to make you a tactical genius
He's bad at losing his irish accent.
yes
>SANSHRA PREASHE
and harrenhall? I shuppose , thats off the table as well

> so who's the only witness?
> why our moron brother who can see through time of course

I was under the impression that nobody in the vale trusted or respected littlefinger on account of this guy who seemed to represent them

He made the mistake of trying to pit Sansa and Arya against each other.
Sansa is the smartest person in all of the Seven Kingdoms, there is no way she could be wrongly accusing someone of something.
Why would Arya and Jon think she’s smart? They both most likely, definitely in Arya’s case, thought she was an air headed moron

How could you possibly know that?
I’d be Machiavelli if it were true
