They are not, F4 is a still a family with ups and downs. With other characters like Spider-man the problem is that first of all he must speak to young readers. Getting married is something for adults and "old people". It still worked pretty well in the 90s because it followed the age of the fans who had become adults too, but having a child changes the tone of the stories is too much and stops many writers from doing what they want.
