Pink is considered a feminine color, but that's only a recent cultural thing. Boys used to wear dresses once. Media and advertising has more of a hand in this than you would think, the ways girls are represented forms preconceptions in people and they usually don't question them. Also, some traits aren't innately feminine, but they were pushed on girls by societal pressure, so they came to be associated with them, like being clean (I mean by using make up and shaving, not by showering) and nice and not taking up space.
