It is possible, and even easy to write good stories about every single Batfamily character. Even Duke, or Harper. I could do it in a fricking heartbeat. The only stopping point is that the comic industry is laden with bad writers who do not care about who they've been given to write, and only think of them as burdens in the way of them getting to write the comic THEY'VE been waiting their whole lives to tell.
At the drop of a dime I could cook up a workable premise for an ongoing surrounding any fricking DC character that I know - and if I didn't know them, I would at least have the decency to fricking research them before I wrote them. But that bare minimum of effort is already too much for most comic writers.
Every character is someone's favorite anon, with so many distinct and varied personalities in the Bat-Family, it only makes sense that they all have their fans.

As someone who generally prefers solo Batman and isn't a big fan of Robin: Duke, Damian and not-Helena Wayne are shit. All of these characters have their fans though which makes it difficult to delete them.
