I can't believe they're gonna force this shit to run beyond Season 10. Yes, Rick and Morty is a show where literally anything can happen, but it's also a show that's set itself up to have a clear timeline and overarching narrative that fans want closure to.
I can't believe they're running it all without the guy who voiced the two leads and 90% of the other characters.
I mean, the writing already took a huge nosedive so I guess it was already a trainwreck, but that's next level.
That's what makes Season 7 so exciting. How in the actual HELL will they approach recasting the voices that literally define the show? The writing won't be any different, but those new voices will kick off a new era, for better or worse.
there are multiverses. different ways of space travel. parallel realities. aliens, drugs, and plants that can do whatever you want or need them to do. how hard can it be to give new voices?
I think his point is more that the acting still adds a lot to the tone and delivery. Regardless of how they do it from a story perspective, it'll still greatly affect the show in how they go about trying to replace an iconic element of the main characters. Will they just try to ape it best they can or go a direction entirely?
>how hard can it be to give new voices?
A significant part of the show is just Roiland ad-libbing verbal diarrhea.
Some of the most popular episodes were 70%+ just that - like Interdimensional Cable was mostly just him spewing out dumb shit in funny voices with a dan harmon b-plot about Beth's shitty marriage tacked on.
Not to mention that again - he voices the two leads, and their vocal tics are a huge part of what makes them. So they've either got to get a spot on impersonation, or go wildly in a different direction for people to not hate it immediately.
It'll be a laugh to see how it goes.
Mike Judge and Seth MacFarlane are proof you can write butthole characters without being an butthole yourself. From what others described, it seems the problem was less Roiland making dick jokes and more him being lazy and difficult to work with, at least in terms of the office. What he did outside of that is its own additional thing.
>I understand you're upset with Mr Ross ma'am...yes, it is tragic that he slammed your baby's skull into a wall and then ate it in front of you, but you have to understand, he directed Hostel, there's really nothing we can do. To be honest, I think you should be ashamed of yourself for wasting police resources on this, you know the kind of movies he makes.
>he was nailed for women beating
No, he wasn't. He was accused, pled not guilty, and had the charges dropped.
Then he was accused and had messages of him being a creepy spaz leaked, which is not a crime but is pretty off putting to read.
Also he was apparently a pain to work with, but given what the writer's room for Rick and Morty has turned into, he was probably justified.
who cares
You do.
>Jeeez Rick, w-w-what's happening to me? I can't even feel my PUPILS!
so it can run forever like the simpsons.

I like Korvo's new voice Not too keen on his redubbing of the intro tho, doesn't flow as smoothly
Why do they have to?
cuz i want them to and they should cater to my every request
Lazy writing
Roiland is a fricking loser. Dan is also a loser, but in a different way.
Roiland is socially-inept. Dans a lefty homosexual. I'd take Roi anyday.
Because you don't have to work with either of them.
>show has a bunch of sexually suggesive things
>weird people decide to nail a creator on sexually suggestive bullshit

Seth stays away from poor people because he thinks he's Frank Sinatra.

>NOOOOOOOO ANA DE ARMAS STOP DONT SHOW ME YOUR NAKED PUSSY AND butthole
actually, he was nailed for women beating and i'm pretty sure it was recorded
He was CHARGED for women beating and the charges were dismissed; he was FIRED for sexting underage girls and being generally unpleasant to be around.

Rick laced their food with anti-aging particles
Be thankful it's not like the first Pokemon show, where time literally does not pass despite passing despite not passing.
… despite… ?
Seems like people have a hard time getting their head around the most fundamental fact that this is A CARTOON.
