Why doesn't Nickelodeon like to celebrate the anniversaries of their dead franchises?

Why doesn't Nickelodeon like to celebrate the anniversaries of their dead franchises? Japan seems to celebrate the anniversaries of even dead franchises. For example, Hamtaro is a dead franchise, but it got a cafe collaboration for it's 20th anniversary. That might not seem like much, but Jimmy Neutron got NOTHING for it's 20th anniversary, despite it being pretty damn popular when it was on

That's Japan. Any random niche or dead franchise can get a collab for its anniversary.

That's true. My friend went to Japan a couple months ago and showed me photos of some kind of fricking Zatch Bell promotional stand thing.

They did the same shit with MLaaTR's 20th anniversary. Complete silence.

MLaaTR wasn't that successful though(not that they gave it a fair shot)
Think of it this way, if you grew up in the 2000s, did you see any anniversaries about the 90's Nicktoons? No. Maybe Nicktoons unite.
Truth is, Nick cares very little about most of it's cartoons.
Viacom treats Nick as a way to lead kids into watching their older, teen/adult programming. This is why shit like the kids choice awards is full of live action actors from stuff outside their network.
I imagine most Nick execs would find the idea of someone watching their channel 20 years later weird.

By this time they were putting XJ9 on their video game covers and placing her amongst Zim and Danny in MMO's like Smite.
Yes it wasn't successful when it came out but by the time it was the 20th anniversary it was retroactively in the public psyche enough for them to at least acknowledge its anniversary.

Keep in mind that the "they" behind the video games and the "they" running the network are two different sets, and likely two different ages. The game devs probably grew up with Jenny

Wrong. Nick had final say who was in the game including everything from characters and cover design is from them.

Assuming they had free reign to hire all these voice actors back and commission art for their games, frankly you seem to have some bias towards the show like the morons who think "MLaaTR is only known for the porn lol it's a forgotten show".

And let's be honest with ourselves: I'm referring to more than just MLaaTR. Someone mentioned Chalkzone got the short end of the stick and you're saying Jimmy Neutron, Nick is picking and choosing their anniversaries clearly. So I guess we answered both our questions.

Is Danny Phantoms 20th anniversary going to go by with silence too?

I know for a fact they'll be celebrating Avatars anniversary because I think there's a new movie coming next year

Is Cartoon Network going to celebrate the anniversary for Foster's? I would say it's a dead franchise, but it's getting a preschool spinoff

They also didn't celebrate the 20th anniversary of ChalkZone either, probably because like Neutron, it's a dead franchise and Nick doesn't do that stuff

to be honest is not really a fair comparison, since animation is way more culturally involved with japan than the US, second cartoons are usually pumped out for booger eating brats like a conveyor belt, they don't really care about any type of preservation just pump the new garbage and drop the previous one (unless you know is a REALLY BIG cultural phenomenon like spongebob and the Simpsons )
