I love this movie and Van Helsing so much, amazing scores too. I use them for D&D music all the time.

Do they work well together when watching on a single night? I've always be put off by the Van Helsing movie.

    > make remakes
    > get rid of all the things that made originals fun
    > make them stupid, filled with shitty cgi, ugly, incompetent actors, and always tied into a "cinematic universe"
    > they flop
    > "People must not like adventure movies anymore"

Blame dumb burgers. They recently rebooted Mummy, movie earned over 300m international, making it the highest grossing of the series in terms of overseas and beating all international opening records, but grossed only 80m in burgerland so the studio dropped out. If the movie made 130m in burgerland you would have a whole fricking series of such. Literally the only reason they do not make these is because the latest one came 30-40m short in burgerland.

      That movie sucked
Most Americans remembered the good Mummy and skipped that shitty one
I guess you ESLs were neither as fortunate nor as smart

All mummy movies sucked but for different reasons. Every each of them since 1940s reboot. I'm 100% sure next one will also suck for a completely different reason, but still.

          No.
You just wanted to b***h about Americans even if it means debasing yourself in the process
This is why you fail, even compared to a nation of fatties, gays, and Black folk

            he is right
            >1932 film was a milestone of german expressionism
            >1960s ones from hammer are just awful
            >ones from 1940-1944 are repetitive and lazy
            >90s ones are dumb and childish closer to parody
            >cinematic universe setup ruined cruise reboot even if they tried to make something closer to 1932
            mummy movies are just cursed

Pic related came out last year, and was absolutely part of the "fun adventure movie" genre. Unfortunately, it sucked.

it can only get made if it's a franchise and it revolves around a legacy white male lead being upstaged by a new diverse lead
