but it is not consistently great and as it goes on the not funny bits get more drawn out and frequent, though the really great parts get better

It's a 10/10 show with 1/10 budget. Also unlike other British shows they ran it for a long time when they had clearly run out of ideas one or two seasons in.

Worked last time I checked. YT-DL works on a bunch of sites. Some sites require you to do some URL sniffing to find the m3u8/mpd/mp4 link but the only the big name pay sites seem beyond its abilities.

Not from the top of my head, maybe Burt Lancaster’s Young Savages? But it’s true. All their pink eiga movies for example are cut to be less than an hour long, meaning they cut out entirely or massively shortened the sex scenes. It’s pretty random in movies and documentaries but it can happen there as well, especially in some Italian westerns that I have noticed. Most recently it happened with one Lee van Cleef western I was going to watch, it was missing almost half an hour. It’s very likely due to them getting rights to a version that was cut for TV or some other kind of older home release that was also cut down. Kinda similar to how Blade Runner on streaming is usually the shitty Harrison Ford narration version instead of the Final Cut.
It’s fricking annoying when you see something you want to see and then notice the short running time and go “wait, wasn’t this closer to two hours?” and when you check turns out there’s like 20 minutes missing. And once you realise you can’t count on the site to have the proper version you want you have to check every time to make sure before watching something that the length matches up to Wikipedia or IMDB info.

I like to support tubi because I think it's great to have services that have tons of shows with the only downside being ads. Instead of supporting 10 different streaming services to get what you want or pirating. I still pirate but I think what tubi does is a good thing.
